Jacques Torres' A Year in Chocolate: 80 Recipes for Holidays and Special Occasions

Recipes are great, but the binding is loose. Also, Chef Torres uses bread flour and cake flour for his cookies (50/50).

This was a Christmas gift, I can assure you it was well received! I love it's in hardcover.Recipient was thrilled!

What's not to love about chocolate!! Jacques Torres is a master chocolatier, and the recipes look easy enough for a beginner (although, you need to be patient with some of the recipes - they take time to make) or can be fancy enough for a dinner party.

Wanted recipes from him I expected more than what this book provided. Disappointed

I have a daughter and a son, who are both professioal chefs. They both requested this book for their birthdays this year. BOTH said they can look up a recipe on the internet, but are never sure it's really going to be exactly what they need. With this book and Jacques Torres' chocolatier reputation, they both said they felt safe using his recipes the first time out.
