Unusable, high pitch noise in left ear, bad app
I was excited to get these as I’m on the hunt for a reasonably priced, durable, great sounding, ANC Bluetooth headphone. I’ve tried Bose QC35 (awful sound quality and suffocating noise cancelling) and Sony XM4 (great sound, good app, and ANC, but poor durability for the price and had a crackling sound in the ear cups). I settled on the Soundcore Q35s 2 years ago but have gone through 2 pairs of them due to lack of durability. They still remain the best cost vs quality pair I’ve had. Now I’m hunting for a longer lasting pair and that brought me to these Creatives. Unfortunately, I found the controls of these headphones confusing to use with strange long presses needed. The headphones themselves seemed confused especially when I connected them to the Creative app and the app would cycle between connected/unconnected and On/Off for the headphones. It wasn’t easy to adjust the headphones in the app because of this. I even updated the firmware and yet the issue persisted. The worst issue I encountered was the headphones had a high pitch squealing noise in the right ear cup, no matter what ANC setting. The sound would play when I played music and stop if I paused and didn’t play anything after about 5 seconds. All these issues presented themselves within the 30 minutes of me opening these headphones and setting them up. I immediately contacted Amazon after struggling to find a way to contact Creative. The rep offered me to return them, I ideally wanted troubleshooting help. They then offered to refund me which they did and let me keep them. However it wasn’t even worth keeping the headphones because it was impossible to listen to music with them. So I ultimately returned these. They’re okay in terms of comfort and the soundstage is decently wide. The light up ear cups are fun. But these have hardware and software issues that make them not worth owning. I also contacted creative they asked me to play with the ANC settings and if it didn’t fix the issue to send them back to the seller I got them from. Which I did. My search continues

Great Quality for a Great Price
Honestly what can I say except wow. They are phenomenal for the price. The earcups are comfortable, but if you're used to real big over ear headphones like Sennheiser or Beyerdynamic, you won't feel as much room in these. They take some getting used to, but they are comfortable to wear for hours with little to no fatigue. Sound quality is good. I wouldn't say it's phenomenal, but as far as noise cancelling headphones go, this is about as good as you are gonna get, even at 2 to 3 times the price. The ANC works great. My only drawback is the dual point connectivity. I'm not sure if it is my laptop driver or not, but I seem to have started having BT connection issues with my laptop on all BT devices right as I got this pair of headphones. Take that with a large grain of salt, since it might just be an issue with my laptop. I will say, phone connectivity has been great. I would recommend using an EQ like Wavelet for these, since they are very bass heavy, and that is definitely not for everyone. I think theyre close to Harman target, but then with a bass boost, so clarity is a bit muddied due to the bass boost. This is easily fixed with EQ though. THE BATTERY LIFE Oh my gosh, the best part. Never have I felt like I could easily go an entire work week without charging my headphones, until these. They last me 8 hours a day for almost 2 full weeks. Crazy. My one complaint here is the charging speed is slow, especially at the lower levels, and you can't use them while they charge, at all, which is a bummer since sometimes I'll need them for one last meeting but they're low battery and the charge will take too long to be able to work for the whole meeting. The mic quality is good. Even without the boom mic, these are better than my work issued Jabra with a boom mic, if not at least comparable.

VERY POOR construction.
I ordered these on June 7, 2026, and had them until today July 7, 2026----1 lousy month of partial use. The stem broke today just from usage and not even being abused. I will be ordering another brand headphone that has a sturdier connection between the head band and the speaker. I was going to try to glue it but to NO avail. The sound quality and ease of use was perfect but very poor construction.

Regular use breaks the expensive headphones. Sound Quality is 100% amazing. Engineering design is 0%
The sound is great. The engineering on the plastic side holders are not. It literally snaps in the same place. I was lucky the first time to have this covered under an Amazon extended warranty. It broke within the first month off owning it. Got a replacement and it broke in the same place on the new headphones. First time headphones were more than $100, second time the price was $90. Now the headphones are $80 and it appears as the rating goes lower so does the price. I wouldn't buy these again. Once the side snaps you can't wear them, you can't tape them because of the position and you can't get a warranty on a replacement item.

ANC Headphones Between $60-$100.00.
I own over 30 pairs of ANC headphones ranging from $12-$100.00 that I have either purchased or received from the Amazon Vine program. I am always on the lookout for new pairs. I had my eye on the Creative Zen Hybrid Pro for quite some time. When they went on sale for $79.99 I ordered them for comparison. They arrived within a week and easily paired to my Motorola G 5G (2023) phone and Nvidia Shield. Basic Specs: Bluetooth 5.3. USB-C. 80-100HR Playtime. 40mm Drivers. Aux-in. Multipoint Connection. LE Audio Support. Notes: This is one of three pairs (JLab and Vokalen) that I own that offers LE Audio but none of my Android devices support it. These have a cloth mesh headband like my Vokalen Hyper Pro - $79.99 - but not on the ear pads. They feature RGB lights on the ear cups. They have buttons on both cups and an unusual volume dial (my only pair that has this). They fit on my 23" head with room to spare. I noticed the cups are smaller than many of my pairs but are not uncomfortable. I tested the sound with my usual three songs: Sleep Token - "The Summoning", Lauren Daigle - "Kaleidescope Jesus", and Chris Botti - "My Funny Valentine". They are very balanced and comparable to the Vokalen and EarFun Wave Pro - $79.99. The ANC does a good job of cancelling out background TV and fan noise. The app is very basic with light controls and EQ settings. My other deduction is for lack of a storage bag or case. Final Ratings: Design 3/5. Build 4/5. Battery 5/5. Comfort 3/5. Controls 4/5. Sound 4/5. ANC 3/5. App 3/5. Value 3/5.

broke in less than 6 months
I enjoyed this product however, the ear piece broke in less than 6 months through light, normal use. this made the headset unusable and the "damage" was not covered by creative.

After the update, LE audio works fine for Samsung phones. See below..
Apparently, there is a update needed for Samsung and other phones in order for newer phones to process LE audio correctly, and not knowing this I returned my original headphones when there really was nothing wrong with them, so anyone who has an issue with LE audio, just pair the headphones with a classic or older device download the Creative App from the store download the firmware update, I turned off my headphones and reconnected to my newer Samsung phone and it now is fixed. See below: Hey guys, to fix the sound issue with the Creative Hybrid Zen Pro headset on the Samsung S23 or other phones, you need to update to the latest firmware available on the Creative app. Pair the headset with another smartphone that has classic Bluetooth and the Creative app installed. Open the app and update to the latest firmware. Once the update is successful, try pairing the headset with the S23 or other phones again, and the LE Audio Bluetooth option should appear. The sound should work fine after that. Now, with that out of the way, the phones sound really good, especially when paired with the app you can adjust the bass and treble and sound really good to my ears, especially when watching movies. If you are familiar with Creative headphones you should like these.

Won't stay connected
Would not stay connected to pixel9a zen hybrid pro x2. They kept dropping during songs and are generally worthless since that is the only reason I bought them, to share with the wife using the LE broadcast...
