Mayinglong Musk Hemorrhoids Ointment (10 Grams) (0.71 oz Tube)

Let me start out by saying that I have never before had a hemorrhoid. FOUR DAYS before my vacation to a THEME PARK I woke up and felt a (literal) pain in my butt. Obviously quite alarmed, I ran to the bathroom and checked in the mirror and saw a lump, bigger than a grape, colored in the most gruesome shades of blue, purple, red, and black. A thrombosed, external hemorrhoid. It hurt to touch. It hurt to walk. It hurt to sit. By the second day, it hurt so bad I couldn't even lay down without being in pain. I have a really high tolerance for pain, and It was easily a 9.5 out of 10 on the pain scale, if not higher. I kid you not when I say it is the most painful thing I have ever experienced, and I've had some painful injuries in the past. I had to call out of work because I literally couldn't function. No matter what I did, I barely got any relief. I bought every medicine and home remedy under the sun (aloe Vera, witch hazel, preparation h, etc) and while a couple of them made the pain SLIGHTLY better, the small relief faded in a couple hours and I was back to being bent over in pain. I got on Amazon in tears and searched for "hemorrhoid relief" and this popped up. I was desperate. I paid for overnight shipping and crossed my fingers it would work. As soon as it arrived I put it on. It's a strange dusty pink color and the smell (to me) just smells medicated, like menthol. Personally, I don't mind that smell at all. It is strong, I will say that, but with clothes on I couldn't smell it at all. I followed the directions and applied once in the morning and once at night (after throughly wiping the area with a baby wipe or preparation h wet wipe) generously all over the lump. When I woke up the next day, I was expecting for the unrelenting pain to kick in... And it didn't. I could actually lay down pain free. I did feel it while sitting, standing, and walking, but I would rate the pain at a 5 - nothing I couldn't deal with for a work day. By the end of the 8 hour day, it was starting to hurt a bit more. Maybe a 6.5 of 10. I rushed home, looked in the mirror, and to my surprise... It was bleeding. Also to my surprise, it had shrunk in size to about half of what it was. I cleaned it up, took a sitz bath and shower, put more of this stuff on, and went to bed. By the day I was leaving for vacation, I would rate the pain at a 4 of 10. I was dreading driving in the car for 4 hours. But much to my surprise, I barely felt it. The first day I went to the theme park, I did feel it, but barely. In fact, I would even say I only felt it because I was thinking about it. I had no problem walking around (for 15+ miles, mind you) or getting on and off rides. When I got to the hotel, it was bleeding some more; draining. And also, had dropped in size again. By the second vacation day, I didn't feel it at all. Literally, at all. I was in shock. I walked at least 18 miles the next 3 days and felt NOTHING. I applied the product as instructed on those days and every morning when I checked it, the tissue looked much better and the hemorrhoid had shrunk more. I am happily reporting today, roughly a week and a half since its appearance, that I am entirely pain free. It has shrunk to barely nothing in size and it gets smaller but the day. I would not recommend anything else for hemorrhoids than this product. Absolutely nothing. In response to those saying they felt a "burning" when applying it the first time - I did feel a tingling sensation (almost like plumping lip gloss or bengay) but I let it sit on despite how strange it felt. I definitely wouldn't call it a pain, but more of a strong tingle. Seriously, if you're suffering from hemorrhoids, buy this. I'm buying at least 10 to keep them just in case this ever happens again. Word of advice: buy more than one. The package is tiny! But totally worth it!

Here is my honest review: I've been advoid dealing with internal hemmy for 10 years and finally have decided to visit Gastroenterology to get it check out. During my first check up, they stick something up my ass and i left home with a hemmy keep hanging out and not able to push it back in like before. 7 days later i found this product, hoping that it will give me some temporarily relief until i get my colonoscopy and banding treatment. Here is my full update because I want this product to work and hopefully it would help the hemmy community from suffering this common pain Day 1: Some users have complained about the product's smell, but for me, that's a minor concern. It's manageable—let's not overly fixate on the scent. After applying it for 2-3 minutes, a cooling sensation provided a welcome respite from my agonizing pain. Although the relief is temporary, lasting only a few hours before wearing off, the significant reduction in nightly wake-ups, from 10+ times to none, makes the $5 investment worthwhile. While my hemorrhoid hasn't retracted yet, I have noticed a reduction in size. I'm happy with the product so far! Day 2: The hemmy is still there but smaller, sometimes i didn't even notice that its there. *Update to be continued...

The smell is horrible. It smells like burnt transmission fluid. It also has a very slight burning tingling when you first apply but it does work.

Soothing and instantly cooling. I seem to be able to taste it but it might just be the smell. Calamine and camphor would be my guess

Ok stop whatever you're doing and read this review! I was just sitting here thinking that I DEFINITELY need to review this product and I'm going to log onto Amazon ASAP to do so. Then in pops an email asking me to review this product! Freaky I know! So anyway I did some research and was a little leery of ordering something that the entire package of which is written in Chinese. But I read several of the reviews and decided to give it a shot. And oh boy am I glad I did! I had had a small hemorrhoid for 4 years but was too embarrassed to go to the doctor for it. And in that four years it had gotten slightly larger. It didn't hurt like some of the other reviews said but was still uncomfortable. So looking for an easy way out I ordered this product. I will say this: ONLY put it on the hemorrhoid, do yourself a favor and don't get any 'in' various openings, a teeny tiny bit does indeed go a very long way, and it does tingle and if you use it at night you'll probably notice it more. And it does smell minty, but I couldn't smell it through my clothes at all. That being said, I only used it three times, and the hemorrhoid is completely gone! I have no discomfort, and no sign that there was ever a hemorrhoid it in the first place! This stuff is incredible! And if anyone ever feels comfortable enough to tell me that they have a hemorrhoid, I will recommend this to them, I guarantee.

Ok, when I purchased this stuff, according to the reviews in here, I thought my hemorrhoid issue was going to disappear STAT. Unfortunately, that was not the case. Here is what I liked about this product: 1- cooling effect. It has some sort of menthol effect as soon as you put it on that's quite soothing. 2- it relieves pain to a certain extent. Not a miracle worker, but decent enough. Now what I didn't like: 1- the smell, oh the smell...It smells like old, musty mold and it's pretty persistant. I know that you apply it on an area of your body that typically doesn't smell like roses, but when it pervades your clothing too, that's when the smell matters. 2- old product. They sent me a batch made in 2013 which expires in only 5 months. I paid 6 bucks for a super small tube. Really, you couldn't send me a fresher batch? 3- it did not shrink my hemorrhoids. Nope, still there, swollen as usual. I'll use the tube up hoping it will be more effective as time goes by, but I do not intend to purchase again.

[Update] I first purchased this cream in 2012 for severe hemorrhoidal pain and rectal bleeding that nothing else seemed to help. I suffered for years with the painful flareups with no relief. I bought several tubes that I used periodically over the next 2 years for small flair ups. I then purchased several tubes for my oldest son who was also suffering from hemorrhoids and here I am today, 2026 ordering it again. Not for the same reason, but because a case of IBS has left me irritated and the pain relief of this product just can't be found anywhere else. The hemorrhoids... what hemorrhoids! After my last flareup in about 2015-2016, and use of this product, I have had absolutely zero issues with those pesky things. I would go as far to say it resolved them. On my last 2 colonoscopies there have been no mention by my doctor of hemorrhoidal presence, and this product is all I have used. Again, it provides wonderful pain relief, not just for hemorrhoids but for external excoriation as well. I still recommend this product after 14 years! [Original Post] You know I am afraid of trying new things, but I have a serious Hemorrhoid problem, so severe that bleeding is almost always present. The pain, oh the pain, but let me tell you this stuff worked.. It has a very cool, soothing sensation, that gives almost instant relief! Listen I really do recommend this stuff; it's even stopped my bleeding! It's a very small tube, like the size of a travel toothpaste, so I order more than one now when I order it, and the smell, well what can I say, it's not fabulous but who cares if it works right!

This stuff worked great! Leave it to this little tube to ease the discomfort of a roid (and aid in healing). I purchased this due to the great reviews and looking for something different than the usual over the counter stuff you see every day. I was surprised how small the tube actually is, but you don't need a lot. It's rather thick and very easy to apply; due to the consistency of it, it stays in place once you rub it on. It immediately provides a cooling sensation, but also worked wonders in shrinking the roid. I used this and also the TUCKS Witch Hazel pads, and within a week the roids were shrinking and were completely free of pain and discomfort. I continued used after the pain stopped for another week and by then, they completely healed and went away. Despite using it multiple times a day for about 2 weeks, this little tube lasted me and I still have PLENTY left. There is no need to put a large amount on, I just gently rubbed it over the affected area. Some people may not like the smell... It smells like Musk (as it clearly states). I'm not a fan of musk, but it surely beat smelling like some weird chemical. I must say, I wouldn't wear musk as a cologne, but as a scent for a medicine that you rub on your blow-hole, it's more than acceptable... Especially when it just damn works!

Very costly, better to use any Indian Ayurvedic product. Let's support Indian Economy than these illicit Chinese products.

This tiny cream is much over hyped, it doesn't give you any relief. For the first 5mins it will give you a burning sensation that's all. Been using the Cream for 2 weeks now but it's of no use. Do not buy it!

No good. Did not help stall. Not recommended.
