The pencils are good quality.

When I first got this, somehow I missed all the pics that show this is a classroom version instead of individual packs. I was a happy clicker that day I guess. So I decided to gift this to my teacher friend and she was so happy with it. She's going to put the different colors in mason jars for her rainbow colored room. She said the classroom version is the preference for her and her friends. Also, this is legit crayola and they always seem to have high quality art products.

Crayola has been putting out quality products for many years, and these colored pencils are no different. There are 14 different colors in the box, including a black and a white. If you use colored pencils a lot, you'll understand when I say that writing with them has a creamy feel, but it's not too soft. In addition to the 14 colors, there are 12 sharpeners, since colored pencils usually do not sharpen well in electric pencil sharpeners. This is perfect for any classroom. Crayola even though of putting a piece of cardboard across the top of the pencils so they don't mix compartments when you move the box around. Quality through and through.

This set is well worth the price if you ask me! The colors are so pretty and vibrant, and it even comes with sharpeners! I love the separation in the case so that all of the pencils don’t get mixed up and as an added bonus, all of the pencils are already sharpened!!! This would be fantastic for a classroom or just anybody that has artsy kids. to be able to buy many pencils at the price is great. I do think that it equals a lot less than if you were to go into a store and buy boxes of colored pencils individually.. if not, the convenience factor is great! Definitely recommend these.

I need to make 65 sets of 14 color pencils. I ordered 2 boxes of the bulk Crayola 14-color Color Pencils. Each box stated it contains 462 pencils in 14 different colors. I should have been able to make 66 sets of color pencils.When I was just about done sorting the pencils into pencil cases for my students, I discovered that although there are 462 pencils in each box, there are unequal numbers in each color. At the end I was left with no pencils in Brown, Violet-Purple, Raspberry, Yellow-Green and Green-Blue. I was unable to complete my needed 65 sets. Very disappointed.
