I bake a lot of tri tip and the meat is tough to slice with a sharp knife so I decided to get a cordless electric knife and I’m very impressed with this knife, it’s just like slicing bread. I cut the meat in thin and even slices, the knife worked so good. I don’t know why I waited this long to get one. I also love the red because it’s not a common kitchen appliance color.

The knife worked pretty well at first, but only about three weeks later and I am seeing a marked decrease in the battery life. When I first got the knife I could get through at least 2 and a half, sometimes even 3 full loaves of bread before losing a significant amount of battery power. Now I can't even get through a full loaf on a full charge. I'm hoping I can still return for a refund. I bake 4 loaves every time, and charging the knife between each loaf turns a 20 minute job into a 4 hour plus job. Not happy at all with it! So disappointed... I love that it is cordless, and the storage box is compact. The battery seems to last a decent amount of time. The biggest issue I have is that the blades are pretty short. I'm keeping it because, for the price, this is my solution for cutting my homemade soudough bread, but even cutting sandwich loaves, it is barely long enough to do a good job. I think if I was carving a large turkey it would also be an issue. If the blades were even one inch longer, preferably an inch and a half, it would make all the difference in the world. The "effective cutting" length (the serrated part of the blades is 7 inches.

I purchased this electric knife to replace my old knife that had died. I like the way the handle looks and the fact that it is a cordless knife. The quality is better then the one I had before. It has a safety lock and the grip is comfortable to hold. The knife is easy to use and I like that it has stainless steel blades. I had it since last year and it works well. I feel it is a good price for the money. If you need a cordless electric knife I would recommend trying this one.

NOT ACTUALLY A 5 STAR RATING.. followed all directions and the electric knife does not work. motor starts but the blades do not move even though they are installed correctly.. to much of a hassle to return for refund. do not buy this knife !!!!!

Finally, I found a cordless electric knife that I can comfortably hold in my arthritic hands and doesn’t require pressing the trigger continuously to operate nor cost nor cost a fortune! Love it! Revised review: Unfortunately, the knife doesn’t hold a charge for 5 minutes of slicing!! Even after the 2nd overnight charge it still didn’t last long at all.

Cordless option is great. Used it to cut high density foam. Had to stop to recharge it so the charge doesnt last too long. Probably would do fine cutting meat.

Bought it and returned it. It did not have power to cut through a beef roast. Another problem is that the knife keep shutting off. I wanted to buy a cordless cause when you use a corded one, the power cable sometimes get in the way and when you are done with the cutting you need to clean the cord too. In the end I used a regular knife to cut the beef roast. The maker needs to gives it more power, the blade needs to be sharper and fix the problem of the power keep shutting off. Bottom line, this product is really not ready for prime time. Please don't waste your time and buy this useless product. When you send it back, you can not return it via Whole Food Amazon counter. You need to send it back and in a package container via UPS. A total headache. The only positive thing for the one star is that it did come in a nice plastic box for storage. Time to shop for one that actually works.

When I first assembled this electric knife and turned it on, I honestly thought it looked powerful enough to take off a finger. It was a little intimidating the first time I used it! But after actually trying it, I realized it's much easier and safer to handle than it initially appears. The biggest advantage for me is bread slicing. With this knife, you can cut bread into incredibly thin, neat slices—much thinner than standard pre-sliced sandwich bread from the grocery store. You'll probably get twice as many sandwiches out of the same loaf. I was also pleasantly surprised by how well it removes corn kernels from the cob. It makes that job quick and easy. That said, this is not a heavy-duty cutting tool. It doesn't cut through a whole corn cob, and it won't cut frozen meat. In my experience, it's best suited for softer foods, which is exactly what I would expect from this type of serrated electric knife. Another thing I really liked was the packaging. The box feels well-designed and presentable, and the included plastic storage case is very convenient and keeps the blades safely protected when not in use. Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase and have found it much more useful than I expected.

Perfect for preparing meat, especially shawarma. The design is very clever, with two blades instead of one, rotating in opposite directions. The battery lasts long enough to prepare a meal, and then you can simply put it back on the charger. Definitely recommend it.

works on most things but struggles a lot / does not work on hard crust bread (tried it on an artisanal bakery spelt loaf)
