Can it take rechargeable C batteries?

Yes you can use rechargeable batteries but you will not have as much horsepower! Also, you will not have as much Time!

I can't seem to find a good holster or loop for this, any recommendations?

One suggestion: Take the hammer loop on a pair of carpenter jeans and tighten that up to where that flashlight will fit through it tightly, but not fall through.

Who sells a 3 pack of C batteries? You'd need to buy a dozen and hope for long shelf life.

Unfortunately, I seem to have to buy a multi pack and hope they last. I have not seen any in a pack of 3.

Solid reliable option!

Sold and bright! I prefer larger flashlights when I go out on walks because it’s easier to hold and it gives me a weapon to defend myself if someone or something gets crazy. This is especially important as someone who has a physical disability that makes defense more of a challenge. Super bright, very durable and high quality. Almost feels like a cop flashlight! Worth the $20 I spent. I also like that the batteries are replaceable for emergencies being able to just change batteries is important to me. Great for everyday use and for emergency preparedness such as tornadoes, hurricanes, emergency evacuation ect. I don’t think you can go wrong with this one. Pretty simple, probable and reliable! Exactly what I want, no frills! Yes, buy it!
