Best switches on the market imo
I love these switches. There is a reason they're usually the number 1 selling switches. I've always been a tactile kind of person but I've noticed when I play too many games I start getting pain in my hand and arm. Come to find out I have ulnar tunnel syndrome and tactile switches seem to make it flare up when I game too much. I bought these switches because I heard great things about them and now I am only using these switches on all my keyboards (I have 1 for my desktop, 1 for my laptop, and 1 for my work office). They're super smooth, I dont ever hear any ping coming from the springs. They make a pleasant sound and aren't loud but a lot of that comes down to keyboard setup and keycaps. They aren't expensive at all imo so thats a huge bonus too. Been using them for about a year now and I haven't ever had an issue with durability / dead switches. Idk about light pass through though, I dont like having lights on on my keyboards.

Well rounded THOCKY switch.
These switches have been my go to for the last three of my builds. They’re my favorite linear from Gateron. They are a smooth, balanced, and THOCKY switch. They are in my work build and are very forgiving to use in an office setting. Stock performance is already great, but hand‑lubing takes them to another level if you're willing to do the work. If you want a reliable, well‑rounded linear switch, Milky Yellows are hard to beat. My only complaint is the last 2 boxes I have purchased have has inconsistencies with some switches coming loose off the pcb plate while removing the keycaps due to the retaining clips on the switch being smaller than other switches I have used. Not a deal breaker for me but it is an issue I have experienced.

great feel and properly lubricated. not compatible with Redragon K556 RGB
great switches but not compatible with my Redragon K556 RGB keyboard. this is not something the seller claimed. it was suggested as "compatible" by Rufus, the Amazon Ai. the physical switches are the correct MX style but the 2 metal pins are too large to fit my keyboard. my rating should be considered a positive one though as i was able to use them in a different keyboard i have. they are not as silent as they should be but feel uniform and seem to be correctly lubricated
