My daughter loves these shakes. She was exclusively breastfed for her first year of life and my sister gave me some for her to try and she never looked back at the breast milk LOL…I like that these don’t have too much sugar (9g) and are packed with nutrition, 27 vitamins and minerals and calorie dense. My ONLY complaints are that these are on the pricey side and that we should be able to purchase them with EBT, help us who don’t have a lot of money out! Other than that, my daughter really likes them. If I can’t get these, I get her the Orgain plant based shakes which she likes too.

She wakes up asking for a “shake” every morning 😅 she has on and off issues with getting food all the way to her stomach without it coming back up. When this happens, we supplement her food intake with these high calorie shakes. I’m so glad she enjoys them because it is sometimes all she can have. I appreciate that they are organic and don’t have foods that kids are commonly allergic to.

This review is for the KATE FARMS Organic Kids Nutrition Shake, Vanilla. The shakes arrive in a standard case. The expiration date on mine was 2/6/25 so about a 13 months from when it was received so that's good. Also certified USDA organic and made in the USA also another plus. Should be noted that ingredients come from worldwide. It does say protect from heat and freezing. These were delivered at the end of December in Wisconsin so temps are often well below freezing. Keep time of year in mind when ordering these as they may be left outside. I happened to be home when they arrived. While each person's needs are unique, the quality of the ingredients are good. Review those to see if they meet the needs of your family. As far as the taste, my kids did not like the vanilla flavor and said it didn't taste good. I really didn't like the flavor either. For us that would be a deal breaker if they don't want to drink it. I did add some chocolate powder to it to see if that helped and then they said it was fine however that defeats some of the health benefits. Also taste better chilled vs. room temp so something to consider. Your family may think it tastes fine so keep that in mind.

After trying several alternatives, this is the only nutritional shake my son will accept. My son has ASD and is a picky eater and is tiny. This shake is helping him to keep weight on. The only downside is the exorbitant price.

My son is struggling with weight gain. He's being picked and all that. So his Nutritionist told me about Kate farms. It's great but it's getting expensive to pay almost $50-60 every 2 weeks. I wish I can keep up with the price because it was working for him. I feel bad as a parent that I can't afford this protein shake.
