These work great on pottery. I like the various designs.

I teach a handbuilding class, and my students had fun exploring all of these textures. For the most part, they leave a nice deep impression. The snowflake design isn't as deep, but if you push a little harder, it still works fine. These are a decent size, and clay doesn't stick to the wood rollers. They are a good value for the money.

Gave these as a gift for a friend that’s gotten very into pottery this year and she loved them. I haven’t seen a final project with them her but I hope I do soon!

Great textures for clay artists!

I actually chose these rollers for my daughter to use with play-doh. We have many tools to shape and create texture in it, and these work so well for that application. My favorite feature is the variety of themes in this set. We’re able to use them all together to explore and find different pictures, or to pick one that suits the theme. The rollers are fairly small and thin. Their size does mean the designs are relatively repetitive (better for smaller applications) but also that adults and children and easily manage them. I did remove a star due to the rough wood texture being present in the engraved designs. This does transfer on to your medium and may not been the smooth final impression you’d expect.
