It's a cheap book: Written awkwardly and at times is incomplete; thin paper; black & white images that are at times blurry; extremely simplistic examples; incomplete and inaccurate index (items not included on pages noted in index, and many items listed under "The [Tool Name]" rather than "[Tool Name]," for example). Lots of flat facts, but nothing to inspire.It may be OK as a manual to Adobe Illustrator, but not the comprehensive "Mastery Course for Beginners, Seniors and Professionals" it bills itself as. In fact, with so little copy given to new features, it's possible it's just a re-tread of an earlier version of Illustrator. Feels like a cheap knock-off. No title on the spine even.
