This is a fantastic leash! It really checks all the boxes. First of all, it's an attractive product. I purchased the "black" leash, and it is very sleek with silver detailing. It makes me feel like I'm a fashionable New Yorker walking my equally as fashion conscious and classy hound. This color would also match with a lot of collars which is nice. The construction of the leash is impressive as well. The leather is thick and hardy, and the clip is very strong and sturdy. This definitely feels like it will last a long time. Especially for my dog, who tends to lag behind on walks rather than dragging me behind her. Although the leather is nice and thick, it's also very soft and flexible. It bends just as a leash should. This is a very short leash (5 ft.) and while that might be a negative for some people, it's definitely a positive for me. My dog's slow. She doesn't need 6-10 foot leashes, and I usually have a hard time finding a short enough leash for her. Overall, this product has been great, and I would certainly recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable leather leash. I was a little upset when I received the product because I had actually been trying to get the brown leash.They had previously been labeling their colors as "Dark Brown", "Brown", and something like "Tan" for the lightest color. I didn't look at the name of the other products and clicked dark brown, because that made sense to me. The leash I received was not dark brown, it was black. They had been calling black "dark brown". -.- The way they had that set up before was very misleading, but luckily, they've changed the labeling for their product and it doesn't look like there will be any misunderstandings in the future. I received this product at a discounted price in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.

Have had it for 4+ years and it works exceptionally well. Right amount of tension, good length for my 65lb golden retriever. Aged very well. Great quality product - everything about it has lasted.

I like that it’s soft, thick , top quality leather . Comfortable handle . It’s very durable, and I use multiple times a day. No blisters on my hands like cheap leather . If my dog pulls, you can feel a little stretch in the leather so I like that. I also use it in my dog training classes, and service dog classes . It’s a great leash . My favorite. !

A premium leash.

When I got it and saw it, it is wider than I really wanted it, but I decided to take a good look and feel the leather. To my surprise it is very soft and strong at the same time so I definitely keeping it. I'm glad I did.

Love the leash itself. The leather is amazing. Feels great in the hand. Has some springiness to absorb shock when the dog pulls. It gets 4 stars because the snap is not the best and need some lubracation when it arrives, this has happened with both of the leashes I have receiced. Once lubed the leash and snap are great.

I got this leash as a replacement for a leather leash a friend gave me that one of my dogs chewed up! I am really impressed with this leash! It has held up through 2 puppies and I use it regularly for training and walking my 2 adult Bernese Mountain Dogs. Its very lightweight but is really durable. It took a little while for it to “break in” but now that its fully broken in its one of my favorite leashes by far. Its the first one I grab when I don’t want a hands-free leash. The price for this leash is amazing, the size is perfect, and the clasp is sturdy but easy to use and doesnt hurt my hands. The leash is very well made with 2 rivets each at the handle and latch. The thickness of the leather makes it strong but it is also subtle making it easy to hold. I’ve always preferred leather over nylon leads. Leather prevents burns that can happen with strong pullers and nylon leashes. I highly recommend!

Schöne, schlichte Leine. Sehr angenehmes weiches Handling. Gewicht ok für mittelgroßen Hund. Länge ausreichend. Macht einen langlebigen Eindruck (bei mir allerdings erst 2 Monate in Gebrauch). Ich hatte mehrere verschiedene Leinen, unterschiedlicher Anbieter, zur Auswahl bestellt und habe mich für diese entschieden.

I bought this with the matching leather collar for my puppy. I'm really happy with the quality and look of the product. Good value on sale for $15. The hardware seems sturdy. I'm hoping the natural leather will wear better than my previous synthetic leashes.
