Works amazingly well. Got rid of the rotten egg smell from my bathroom sink overflow
For the record I am reviewing: Quest Specialty DIGEST PLUS Foaming Drain Cleaner and Odor Eliminator, 2 count UPDATE: We recently discovered that the house we are renting is on septic, because of this we stopped using out garbage disposal. After 6 months we began to smell a very strong mold smell coming from the sink, we tried several things to get rid of the smell. Nothing worked until I remembered that I had one can of this stuff left. I used the whole can on the garbage disposal side of the sink, filling it about 5 times and letting it sit for an hour between treatments. Then I flushed the sink with boiling water. The smell is gone, the disposal is clear and I could not be happier with this stuff. It has been about 10 days and the smell has not returned. I was worried about it for health reasons, and I am a big fan of this stuff now. So, after reading several reviews I decided to give this stuff a try. My bathroom sink has had this rotten egg stench coming from the drain for about three months. Every time we ran some water it would stink really bad and bending over when brushing your teeth was like sticking your head into a garbage can that had been sitting in the sun. Our sink has a small overflow opening in the front for water to go thru when it gets near the top. I figured the smell was coming from their. I put the tube which did come with the can, got two cans and two tubes, into the overflow opening and attached the other end to the can, then gave it good shake, and pressed the button. It flushed the drain out really well like so many have shown in their pictures. I let a mound of foam pile up in the sink and then let it sit there until all the foam was gone. I let it sit for about an hour or two then washed all the gunk down the drain. I then repeated the process probably five more times. Letting the foam sit and do it's work for several hours each time before washing the gunk away. I immediately noticed the fragrance. I am not a person that enjoys perfumes and fragrances so it was not appealing for me. But it was not bad either it was not over powering. When I was done, I removed the hose from the can and left the other end in the opening of the sink and ran hot water thru the overflow to rinse the area out. That might be the trick to getting a really well done job completed. Once that was done I washed the sink, and the perfume smell was down to a minimum. For me that was perfect. The best part was this morning when I brushed my teeth, NO ROTTEN EGG SMELL. Yes it worked and it worked really well. So, the only thing to do now is see how long it takes for the smell to return, I imagine that since this is the first time in the past 15 years that this sink drain and overflow have actually been cleaned, and rinsed with HOT water that the smell will not come back anytime soon, but IF IT DOES, I will come back and update my review. But for now, I am 100% satisfied with my purchase. Although, I didn't need to buy two cans. The first can still has about a third left in it and I used a lot each time. So, maybe only get one can if you have only one sink. But if you have several I would think two cans can handle three sinks. Hope this helps. On December 2nd I had to clean the drain out again. So, I am pretty pleased that this product cleaned out my sink for about 6 months. The really nice part is that I am still using the first can and have enough to last me for the next year or more. Still loving this product.

Works. Use gloves/mask if you're sensitive to strong smells.
This stuff blasts gunk out of the sink drain and offers a nice smell, too. It is a strong smell, so I use gloves/mask to keep from getting a headache/dry mouth from it. But it works and the decent smell lasts in the drain for days. I find it works best if I remove the drain cover in the sink and run the tube down the overfill drain. The foam comes up the main drain and brings the clogging material with it. I've also run the tube down the main drain to get it to clean out the overfill. You can scoop up the clog with paper towel and dispose of it. It might also help to use a flexible drain brush - run the drain brush up/down the pipes a few times and then give them another dose of foam. This set https://www.amazon.com/Bozenu-Flexible-Double-Cleaning-Cleaner/dp/B0BG27L9VM/ref=sr_1_7?sr=8-7 is close to what I use. The foam seems to help the sink and tub drain faster, and it helps remove the nasty odor that grows in the drain. The smell is a little strong if you give the sink say, 3 shots of foam, so you'll want to ventilate the space for a while. Using the foam and brushes is pretty much the only way I've found to really get rid of that funky smell (Drano, bleach, vinegar/baking soda, boiling water don't do as well for as long).

Really gets rid of smells.
Seems to work ok, but I'm doubting the bacterial components are actually working given the alcohol and other ingredients required for a spray foam applicator. I just didn't get the clog removal I hoped for. However, functioning bacteria or not, it's REALLY good for getting the smells out of bathroom sinks. You can spra the foam down the overflow drain and it gets rid of the funk. I'm also going to try this on the humidifier and HVAC condensation drains.

Foam work really well
It doesn’t have a fancy label and I haven’t seen it on social media BUT I’m so glad I went with this cleaner. Our sink is very old and had started to smell disgusting and this did the trick. I could have gotten away with using 1/2 a can on it but it was satisfying to get all the disgusting gunk out that I ended up using the entire can. My sink doesn’t smell anymore which was my goal, so I give it 5 stars. I plan to use a little spray of it as a monthly maintenance going forward and will absolutely buy again.

Must have to your regular sink/shower/tub cleaning routine
We had a musty, moldy smells coming out of the shower drain and out of the sink drains. We've used vinegar, and I've used a pipe snake to clean it. Both were effective. Then I purchased this product thinking that I just wanted something to keep the smells from coming back, and to my surprise this product is terrific. The foaming action breaks up mildew/mold, and it rinses away easily. When you try to use it to drain water, the first time it may drain slowly but that's because the foam is so thick. It does break down, and it's a wonderful value for the cost. We plan to add this to our regular bathroom cleaning, and our bathrooms now smell fresh!

It's okay.
Didn't do much of actual cleaning but did well at deodorizing. Had issues with the hose popping off the can and foam spraying everywhere.

Works as Advertised
I want to clarify something that seems to be confusing for some shoppers. This is NOT a drain declogging agent. This is a foam that gives your drains a BATH. We recently changed out the old water heater in our house due the mineral build up and other stuff making our water stink. It mostly cleared up after the change except in our master bathroom. A quick conversation with the plumber told us the issue is a slim that builds up in both the water heater, pipes and in the sink pipe itself. The new water heater flushed everything except some spots in our overflow and drain in the sink. To use: I put the provided tube in the overflow hole (you will have to force it) and sprayed the foam until it backed up through the pipe and into the sink. I left it there until the end of the day. I plugged the sink (the foam had receded by then) and filled it with HOT water until it flowed through the overflow for several minutes to flush it out. This smell is GONE. If you have clogged pipes and you know they are modern pipes, go get that drain cleaning stuff in the black jug sealed in a plastic bag at your local hardware store. Or whatever the equivalent is in your region. This product is not that. But it DOES work when used as intended. Hope this helps!

Doesn’t work
I have a bar sink that mostly gets hands & a few dishes washed in it. There was a good bit of gunk built up in the drain pipe. So I tried this product… filled the drain with the foam& waited. Nothing. So I ran hot water for a bit to soften the gunk… foamed it up, waited, filled the drain with foam a couple more times. Nothing. So I used a probe to scrape the pipe leaving some residue. I sprayed the foam in again and kept adding foam several times for a couple hours. It wouldn’t even clean the residue off the pipe! Don’t waist your time or money!
