I've bought so many mascaras over the years - both 'drug store' and designer brands - but this mascara is honestly the best I've ever tried. I cannot believe how inexpensive it is for the quality! Although the design of the packaging/the container is fairly cheap looking and mediocre, the design of the brush and the actual mascara is first-rate. The brush is long and thin. Every single lash is separated and coated, allowing both (extreme) lengthening and gentle curling. It doesn't clump and it looks very natural. Then there is the fact it's a tubing mascara, so it doesn't run or smudge - I'm not sure why, but the moment I turned 40 my mascara started to run and smudge, but this stays put and is easy to remove with a cleansing cloth and water. Finally, and most importantly to me, elf products are all vegan - so completely cruelty-free (and that includes not using ingredients from, or trading with, countries that mandate animal testing). Many beauty brands may be cruelty-free in your own country, but engage in cruel animal testing practices in other countries (such as China), so going for a product labelled as 'vegan' is the only way to be sure. You can rest easy with elf products that you will not be funding animal cruelty. This is the holy grail of mascaras - buy it, you won't regret it.

It’s a good mascara that stays put for a few hours. Good for lengthening and curling, but not a tubing so will flake after a few hours. Great for short term wear though for the price.

Love this mascara. At last I have found one that glides in easily and doesn’t clump anywhere. Lengthens my lashes and is very easy to remove. No more panda eyes! Will definitely purchase again.

Adequate, but not ‘Wow’. A nice light look for daytime. Doesn’t withstand sweating lots or crying though (lashes start to clump together).

Best mascara I’ve used. I have oily skin and fairly long eyelashes, the two combined means I used to always have black smudges under my eyes. I’ve tried expensive mascaras that are supposed to be smudge proof or suitable for oily skin but I got the same panda look from all of them. I’d have to check my make up constantly to make sure the panda hadn’t returned or that I didn’t have mascara goop in the corner of my eyes. Waterproof mascara was no good either due to wearing contacts. Then, while looking online for the next one to try, I found a review for this one and I’m so glad I did. It’s the best mascara I’ve ever had. It does not budge during the day, no more panda eyes, no more mascara goop and at the end of the day it looks as fresh as it did when I put it on. Plus it’s so easy to remove and when it’s removed your eyelashes are completely mascara free, no more waking up with mascara residue in the morning. I can’t recommend it enough and it’s a great price

This is a tubing mascara. I hadn’t heard of these until I did some internet research. Apparently the mascara wraps itself around the individual lashes and they are usually more expensive than this one (which was recommended by several people). I first tried it over the mascara I was already wearing, just because I wanted to try it when it arrived. This made a difference but I also tried it again the next morning, when applying my makeup from scratch. The wand is narrow which gives you the ability to make fine touches, and to manipulate it without missing the lashes (and getting some of your face!). It applies evenly and there was no clumping. I have been using a well know brand for years now, but had noticed some clumping so wanted to try something else (hence the research). The research also advised I apply mascara in general with a zigzag motion, as the brush goes along the length of the lashes, to increase the effect. I didn’t know this and so have been doing this too. It is a good, deep black colour. The length definitely increases on application. No clumping. I can recommend and imagine this will be my new regular mascara.

EDIT: It's been almost a yr & half - 2 yrs & still using ELF XTNDR TUBING mascara. I was using the 💙Elf tubing mascara in black, I'd just opened it, getting ready like I always do. I bought the 💙Elf Tubing mascara from a store & saw it on Amazon & got 2 more. Now I have a brown one which I love. I have both brown & black, if you've never used the brown, it's awesome & will give you a great look. I think it also comes in blue. While I was putting the 💙Elf Tubing mascara on, mascara almost acts like a water proof mascara, how it was explained to me is that the 💙 Elf mascara wraps around each lash creating a tube, it washes off easily, it doesn't flake or smear & I just found my new mascara. I'd been using princess mascara for abt 2 yrs & always got it on Amazon, made in Germany & I thought good quality, at least as good as I could get for the price but it flakes. Ladies, you have to try Elf Tubing Xtnder mascara, either way, whatever it's called, it will pop up in your search. I love it & have no complaints. What I really like is the brush. I've never used a brush like this one, it's got short rubber like bristles, not really bristles but little nubs & not like the big bushy bristles on big fat mascaras. The applicator wand delivers the mascara to each lash & so good & great layering. That's been one of my issues with different mascaras is not knowing what kind of brush I'll get & end up throwing away many mascaras bc I'd use it a cpl times & quit using it bc of the big fat brushes that hold onto so much mascara that it dries & have to separate my eyelashes. This 💙ELF TUBING layers so nicely, I usually put abt 3 layers & that's why I've come back to Amazon to get a cpl more of what I got from the store. Another thing that you need to know is that this 💙ELF TUBING MASCARA is really similar to "PRIME" mascara made by "PROMETICS." It cost almost $30! I love that one, too. The Prime is supposedly for women over 40 or 50. I bought a tube of Prime from their site, it's the same price here on Amazon as it is on their site. I thought that Prime had so many great reviews I have to try it. This "Prime" mascara made by "Prometics" is ALMOST EXACTLY like the Elf Tubing mascara & the brush is also the same. It's $28 & its also a tubing mascara, as it states on the pkg. I don't usually read the mascara pkg but they were so similar I had to read it & trying it I found that "Prime" is also said it was a tubing mascara. For 4 times as much as 💙ELF TUBING mascara, don't waste your money & spend almost $30 on a mascara when you can get 💙 Elf Tubing mascara is $7 & the same price here on Amazon & in stores. You can get both here & go ahead & try "Prime" just for yourself & you'll see that they're ALMOST EXACTLY the same, the brush & mascara. I'm so glad I got this mascara, I've used this Elf Tubing mascara for over a year & half -- 2 yrs 🌹 So now, I have both, Elf & Prime & I also love the Prime brand. I use store brand makeup remover & it's not oily, similar to Neutrogena, but also cost less. They're almost identical only 1 costs $28 & the Elf costs $7. I had been using different mascaras that cost under $10 bc for the last few yrs & trying to find something, anything that worked like I wanted but settled for Princess 👸 I'm really tired of spending $20 - $30 for mascara & it not being what I wanted or needed. ( there are other mascaras called Prime but they're not made by "Prometics") If you see "PRIME" Mascara on Amazon you'll notice that there are several, similar pkg & color but, look at the company that makes it & also the price! The REAL PRIME mascara is made by PROMETICS & cost $28 there are other Prime for alot less made by different companies. Both Elf & Prime are awesome mascaras & almost exactly the same. They both have the Tubing effect & the same exact wand applicator. They both are great but why pay 4 × as much bc it says for women over 40 or 50. I had to see for myself & I love both of them. If you were to put them both in an unmarked tube, same applicator & tried them side by side, you probably wouldn't be able to tell the difference, maybe by the smell. I got both, the Prime for $28 & Elf Tubing for $7. I love both of them. Read my review of "Prime" by "Prometics." You'll love both if you like tubing mascara.

Great quality tubing mascara. Lasts all day on my oily skin, doesn’t smudge, makes my lashes look longer, and removes easily. Love it!

This has quickly become one of my favorite mascaras—I’ll definitely be repurchasing. Highly recommend if you’re looking for great lashes at a budget-friendly price! 💖

È senza dubbio uno dei migliori mascara da tutti i giorni che abbia mai provato. Non conoscevo la tecnologia tubolare, ma si è rivelata una vera svolta: permette di rimuovere il prodotto senza stressare o strappare le ciglia, perché scivola via semplicemente lavando il viso a fine giornata. Nonostante non sia waterproof e si elimini con facilità, ha una tenuta superiore a molti mascara a lunga durata o resistenti all’acqua: niente “polverina” di usura, zero grumi e nessuna perdita. Per il prezzo a cui è proposto, è davvero il migliore sul mercato.
