Design Of Analog Cmos Integrated Circuit , 2Nd Edition

I was Mechanical Engineer before and started with my Electrical Engineer with this book. This is my favorite book in EE so far. I purchased several versions of this book. The current version is in more details and analysis. Recommend to these designers on analog CMOS circuit. It’s a book worth you reading over and over!

Consume this text book cover to cover if you want to be a chip designer

It has good coverage of topics, but the material is VERY dense, you must work through basically everything to understand the arguments. Numerous steps of algebra are skipped through, but if the text did not do this the book would probably have 4x as many pages. I took off one star, as the instructor in my class taught us a lot of simplifications, which get very close to the simulations results, with about 10% of the effort of some of the formulas included here, so I would have liked to see that covered. Also, the majority of the 3 star and below reviews are people complaining about shipping problems, WTF is wrong you people, that's not what this is for.

The previous reviewer said the revision does not have a "significant change", and gave only one star. I think that is unfair to give such a low rating. This revision has quite new comments and examples for most of the chapters. Definitely, the revision is not going to be completely a new book. Compared to other revised analog circuit books from other authors, this Dr. Razavi's book provides quite a good revision. I recommend to purchase this revised book.

Lovely presentation, covering most of the topics necessary for today's engineers analog design. Clear in text and schematics and on derivation of analytical description of performances for further validate them by simulation. Highly recommended for an update or "mis-en-jour" with latest issues on analog CMOS.

A very comprehensive view of CMOS devices. From PFET/NFET to FINFET to IC. This book is quite complete.

The product arrived maybe 2 days late and the book had minor scratches and a mini tear from the side although it was purchased new, also it wasn't very clear that this was the Indian edition of the book (not that it could potentially make a difference but it should be stated clearer).

日本語版は第１版しか発刊されていないようなので原著の電子版を購入しました CMOSアナログ集積回路初学者は皆勉強する本なのではないでしょうか

El libro es útil y enciclopédico si estás interesado en profundizar en el Diseño de circuitos integrados con función analógica, o bien solamente para entender su análisis y funcionamiento. Reconozco que es un tema algo restringido que resultará de interés solamente a algunos especialistas, estudiantes de posgrado, o ingenieros que estén ya metidos en la industria de circuitos integrados (a quienes puede servir de válida referencia). Este libro aborda los temas asociados al diseño muy minuaturizado (longitudes de canal en los transistores CMOS en el orden inferior a la micra), con lo cual a pesar de haber pasado unos 4-5 años desde su edición continúa siendo bastante relevante y vigente para la ingeniería analógica de alta precisión e integración en el día de hoy (2023). Opté por la edición india o restringida a mercados en desarrollo, por tanto la compra en cierto modo es de segunda mano pero esto se indica claramente en la descripción. Ciertamente nunca pagaría la montanada de dólares que se exige por un texto original de estas características, que exige la editorial en la versión USA o internacional comprada nueva... No me creo que la causa de esos costes desorbitados para estudiantes sea el poco volumen de la tirada por la especificidad de su contenido... así que encontrarlo de segunda mano (pero prácticamente en estado impecable) me ha supuesto una gran ventaja.

Livro enviado dos EUA para o Brasil dentro de um saco plástico e um saco com bolha da Amazon. É um ótimo livro, mas contém amassados na capa, contracapa e algumas falhas de impressão ao longo dos capítulos.

¡Excelente libro!.... Me hubiera gustado ver mas calidad de la tinta, sin embargo el precio es muy accesible.
