This was one of three torch lighters I was trying out at the same time. It turned out to be my second favorite of the three, and is definitely one I'll keep using.The first thing that immediately stands out on this lighter is the groove right down the middle. This is made to hold your cigar. I'm not sure I would do this while it is lit, but I think it should be fine if you do. I found it convenient to hold the cigar while I was getting situated before lighting it.The lighter comes with a punch tool, which I like. I had a keychain punch for a while, but this attached one is a lot more convenient. I often like punching them rather than cutting, so this was a nice feature for me.Filling this the first time proved to be a bit of a challenge. The flame kept blinking out after sparking. With some patience, and dialing the knob from max to minimum flow and back while it was lit seemed to burn off whatever was inside already. I had to vent the air out of it a couple of times too. That said, I did get it to work, and don't expect this to be a consistent issue. The torch takes an adapter to fill, which came with the butane can I bought to use in it. It emits a nice double flame, and was easy to light my cigar with this lighter. I like the one-touch light too. The door automatically opens and closes to reveal the torch nozzle.If you're looking for a torch lighter with a little extra flair, this is a good option. I'm pretty happy with it, and look forward to using it more.

I take it with me everywhere... This replace my old 3 flame torch. I like this because it's made very solid, has a curve side in case you are out and about and don't have a place to set down your cigar so it functions perfectly. Has a punch built-in which is my preferred option. A think I purchased on sale but at regular cost I would gladly buy again.

This is an attractive lighter, made from zinc alloy, with a sleek modern/industrial aesthetic. It arrived very nicely packaged, suitable for gifting. My first impression upon seeing it in person was very favorable. I really wanted to love this lighter.Unfortunately, its operation is just too finicky for me. There is a very narrow "sweet spot" in the flame-height adjustment. Set it too low, and the lighter will spark, with maybe a trace of flame, which will extinguish almost immediately. Set the adjustment too high, and you'll get a good flame—which will continue to burn even after the activating lever is released. These must be common complaints, because the lighter's Amazon description addresses both. However, none of the suggested fixes resolve either issue. Worse yet, the sweet spot varies, requiring flame adjustment with virtually every use.That said, here are some pros: The activation lever controls a lid over the dual jets. Pressing the lever opens the lid, releasing it closes the lid. That's a nice feature. The clear viewing port easily show's the level of butane in the lighter's reservoir. One side of the lighter is a knurled concave partial cylinder. Lay the lighter on its side, and this becomes a cigar stand. The problematic flame adjuster is a large knob, wider than the lighter's body, making it easy to adjust by hand (no tiny tools or finger nails required). I don't smoke, so can't speak to the stainless-steel 9mm cigar punch, but it seems well-made, and is sharp.Other reviewers seem to have had more favorable, less finicky, experiences than me. So perhaps take my criticism with a grain of salt.

am an avid cigar smoker, but not like a daily smoker. just an occasional one specially when enjoying stogies with great company of friends or family. cigar torches is part of that smoking experience. this torch lighter always opens up a conversation. first, about how it is multifunctional. i get to show it around on how to use and amazingly, smokers are really into it! we all appreciate the built in punch which i find that it is a cleaner way of creating the draw point; imho. that opens up a whole new conversation of the different cigar aficionados’ preferences! hehehe! then there is the torch; dual in this case which is ample enough; again imho. 2nd round of discussion. hehehe! the proper way to toast a stogie; or not.! enough said. this is a great tool to have during stogie rituals ! elegant, classy and functional! definitely giftable two thumbs up!

Once I finally found the right Butane Canister for this (it's got a pretty small fill hole), I've thoroughly enjoyed this lighter. It's quite hefty and sturdy, fires right up and feels good in the hand. The punch is just the right size and works fine (pretty sharp) and the adjustability of the flame is nice as well. Nice hot blue flame as well so lighting even the bigger cigars is easy.If I had a complaint at all it's that the wheel on the bottom to adjust the flame is a bit too easy to move. I've noticed a few times when I take it out of my pocket it's either been adjusted down or adjusted up probably from sliding around in my pocket. It's not terrible but just sort of annoying. I might get another one to keep in the car.

Should be using this to light my cigars.Lite one cigar that's it. Won't hold a flame.Will not be getting another one.
