Is OS-01 FACE SPF(OS-01 SHIELD) waterproof/water-resistant?

OS-01 FACE SPF(OS-01 SHIELD) is not water resistant. Though OS-01 FACE SPF(OS-01 SHIELD) is perfect for everyday use for most lifestyles, we recommend water-resistant sunscreen when swimming or sweating.

Is OS-01 FACE SPF(OS-01 SHIELD) broad-spectrum?

Yes! Per FDA Regulations, OS-01 FACE SPF(OS-01 SHIELD) passed the Broad Spectrum Test in 21 CFR 201.327(j). Additionally, OS-01 FACE SPF(OS-01 SHIELD) is rated PA+++, indicating that it provides high UVA protection.

How much OS-01 FACE SPF (OS-01 SHIELD) should I use?

You should apply 2 mg per square centimeter of surface area to receive the SPF on the label. Though face sizes and the areas to which you apply vary, this works out to be a little less than ¼ teaspoon for your face on its own for most people.

How often is it recommended I reapply OS-01 FACE SPF(OS-01 SHIELD)?

We recommend applying liberally to the face (and neck and chest if desired) as the last step in your skincare routine, before makeup and 15 minutes before sun exposure. Reapply at least every two hours.

Will OS-01 FACE SPF(OS-01 SHIELD) leave a white cast after applying it?

Based on consumer testing via a beta test and a consumer perception study run by a third-party research organization, most people agree that the non-tinted and tinted formulas blend seamlessly into their skin tone. Darker skin tones may prefer tinted

Great tinted sunscreen for face

Blends well and feels weightless. Not a matte finish but natural glow. A little pricey for everyday sun protection, especially if you need to reapply throughout the day. Worth it though if you're looking for preventive care on aging skin.

Worth the investment

This is the only sunscreen that hasn't clogged my pores or broke me out. Also has no white cast thanks to the tint. Has a slight shine but looks like glass skin instead of greasy. It might be pricey long term but your face is the first thing people say, so might as well take care of it and look good doing it

I had a reaction to it

I had a reaction to this lotion and it made my skin red and inflamed where I applied it. It took a few hours for it to develop and it was not itchy or painful, just puffy. It went away after about a day. I have the eye cream and that’s fine, but this one I’m going to have to toss which is unfortunate because it’s pricey.

It's reasonable but pricey

Ngl, I'll probably switch products when I'm done using this one up. 1) the tint is reasonable in place of foundation 2) the sunscreen does not cause irritation with my eyes 3) it's pretty liquid, so it's easy to over apply. This product really works best in a light application and then let that settle in and then do a second application. If you apply too much at once it just sits on top of your skin and smears off later. It is pricey though so I think I'll end up with a drug store dupe most likely.

Too Sheer - Zero Coverage

I love OneSkin as a brand. I’m a big fan and have been using their products for three years. However, this product is not for me. I was excited to see tinted sunscreen, thinking I could wear it when I didn’t want full foundation. This is too sheer. I cannot tell I’m wearing it - which may be what you want. But for me, I want at least a little coverage. For the price, I’m better off sticking to the rest of my OneSkin routine and skipping this one.

Surpassed expectations

I was skeptical because it took me long time to find a good mineral sunscreen with no white cast. I’ve now switched my subscription the to OneSkin sunscreen. Zero white cast plus 0S-1 peptide. I also like the slim packaging. Bottle fits in my pocket so I can take it with me when I know I’m going to need to reapply.
