I bought this for when I go camping, day trip to the beach and now for after work fishing. The bag itself will literally hold everything, including some other lures that I have and even bait. The fishing poles themselves are very strong and very sturdy. I was afraid that if I caught something that these might break easily but that hasn't been the case. I recently caught an almost 2lb trout and this fishing pole and reel helped me reel it in with no breaking or making a cracking sound. There was some bend, but nothing out of the norm. I'm able to easily cast out without any stoppage or hang up either. Completely smooth the whole way. This whole thing is completely portable and highly recommended for traveling and camping with.

These are great. Not very expensive at all and you get twice as much pretty much for the price of one. The guides aren’t very good and come loose pretty easily, and the handle of one broke from just one fall. I slipped on some leaves and took a tumble. Dropped all the rods I was holding when I went down and when I picked them up this one was the only one that broke. Handle snapped right off almost at the joint where it connects to the reel. I was incredibly disappointed as I had only gotten to use it twice before that happened. But hey, it comes with two at least so I still have one functional lol. The line it comes with is fine, a little stiff but not bad at all. Casts great. Rod sections are made out of aluminum I would guess, some sort of light metal, not carbon fiber or plastic and that’s okay. I’ve hooked quite a few fish with the spoons that comes with the set of lures. Mostly baby bass, and I mean baby. They seem more attracted to the red plastic attached to the treble because a couple of the fish were smaller than the spoon itself 😂 I can only assume they honed in on the small red plastic bit and not the actual spoon. So yeah, it’s a great set for the money and I highly recommend it for anyone on a budget looking for some decent gear. You could honestly just buy this and go right out to fish, it has everything you need.

This is a really nice little starter kit. I bought it for when my dad visits because we live on a lake and aren't fishers, but he is always talking about fishing while he is here. It is very compact and everything folds up nicely in a zipper pouch that is about 18'x6"x2". Definitely small enough to store in a closet when not in use. The poles seem adequate and the reels are very smooth. I love that it came with the fishing line already on the reels. It came with a few jig heads, swivels, weights and rubber worms. I will definitely need to supplement the lure selection, but I think that is by design because fishing tackle is going to be very specific to location and what you are fishing for. If you were a prepper this would be a good set to keep in your go bag or supply closet.

These poles are amazing, especially for us amateurs. Everything needed for my bf and I to go out and fish and a nice case to collapse and store them. Great product and durable for the price!

I bought this combo set hoping for a convenient, budget-friendly setup to pack on a hiking/camping/fishing trip, but it is an absolute disappointment. For $40, you are much better off taking your money elsewhere and buying a single, decent-quality combo instead of this cheap kit. Everything about this set feels incredibly low-grade. It comes with two collapsible poles and two separate reels, but the design is fundamentally flawed. Once you attach the reels to the poles, they never lock down tight. They stay loose and wobble while you're trying to use them, which completely ruins the feel. To make matters worse, the reels tangle up almost instantly on every few casts, leaving you spending more time fixing line knots than actually fishing. Even more so if you have beginner kids, you'll never get a moment of quality fishing time in. The included tackle box with hooks and lures is just "okay"—nice that it's included, but they are still very low-quality and won't last long. While compact, and all fits in am included carrying bag, the actual fishing gear inside is practically cheap plastic. Save your $40 and invest it in a reliable, entry-level rod and reel from a trusted brand instead. This one is going to leave you frustrated on the water.

After the pole is set up, it just ok. The reel is excellent but the pole is hard to store and break down. The top of it broke on the first trip. I would keep the reel and get rid of the pole.

For the price we paid, I’m happy with these. We took these to Alaska on vacation because they packed easily. Used them for some shore fishing and all went well. We’ll still use them around home, if needed. They’re not the greatest quality, but for the price I paid, I’m good with that.
