Helping Hand Classic Pro Folding Reacher 27" (68cm) Long

This grabber exceeded my expectations.Needed a reliable grabber as I have a herniated disc. The pincers of the grabber are made of a rubber material which has a soft serrated edge to prevent slipping. They fit together in such a way that they can't rotate around each other that you sometimes see with cheap grabbers. They are gentle and effective enough that I was able to pick up a dropped tablet. This was very pleasing as a have a young daughter and pets and didn't want to leave it on the floor. It also has a strong enough grip to pick up cans. The span is adequate and more than enough for everyday tasks. It has enabled me to do many of the things I want to do without having to wait for help, from picking up dropped laundry to even helping me get my knickers on!The magnet on the end is useful for lightweight items such a hair grips or small screws. The folding feature is useful if you want to take it out with you.I have given it 4 stars for weight but this is due to it's sturdy construction. Flimsy grabbers may be lighter but if this is not a consideration for your condition do not hesitate to give this grabber a go.

This is our latest grabber of 3 of the same make and being foldable will be handy to take out with us or when going away, it is very firmly connected and seems very secure in it's grip and I can see it will be a very useful addition, these are brilliant for just about anything that needs picking up from a bit of a distance that would make you struggle, I can thoroughly recommend these compared to other brands that we've tried in the past, great value for money and with a lifetime guarantee what more can you ask !

Sturdy tool works well on various sized items and bits could be repaired by yourself if ever needed

These are wizards!!!!! I've got them in nearly every room of our house. Having had a hip replacement, I cannot bend down very well. I've got the very small one in my ensuite, and the longest in my bedroom. Then I have some more in a bathroom, kitchen, dining room, and by my little work station also one in our downstairs walk-in shower room and one by me on the computer. I can only recommend them for anybody needing even a needle dropped on the floor, because it has a magnet tip at the end!!Many thanks!!

Works well. Good reach. Magnet is useful. Gripper is good and can handle surprisingly small objects. Better than expected.

This grabber is lightweight, easy to use and very well made. I am a wheelchair user so I thought it would be a good idea to buy one in case I needed it one day and it has honestly made my life so much easier, I can use it for things I didn’t even think about when buying it! I love that there is a clip for when you fold it in half as it is then very easy to store as well as being discreet. The grabber itself is very effective and picks things up with very good grip, there is also a hook on it which is useful and there is a small magnet on the bottom of it, the magnet is good for lightweight objects but isn’t strong enough for heavier objects but I would still recommend this grabber!!

I've had a grabber like this previously that served me well. So as it was a lot of years old I bought two new ones. I have one which lives in the kitchen to pick up things I drop by accident. It's been doing a great job. However the second one I kept in my bedroom has only lasted 5months. This morning I picked it up to use it and I found the handle was loose and hanging. It seems somehow it's lost a pivot bar or something that kept it attached. So sadly it's useless and I need to order another one. The question is do I order another same model or look else where?
