PEACE OF MIND AND INCREDIBLE SLEEP!
I rarely write reviews on products but I am writing about my experience because this product exceeded my expectations, and I'll tell you why! My son has slept in the SNOO since he was born. He sleeps like a champ in it BUT he is beginning to outgrow it, as he is a pretty large 4 month old... I knew it was time to get him transitioned to his crib during the day at naptimes so I started testing out a new sleep routine in his crib. He was doing okay sleeping on his back in his sleep sack BUT his startle reflex was hindering him from sleeping longer stretches. I began putting him in those swaddles that allow him to have his hands near his face. He loves them! BUT *sigh* he began rolling from back to front a few weeks after we implemented the daytime naps in his crib with said swaddle. He is not coordinated enough to move freely after he's rolled onto his face so I knew he wasn't quite ready to be left to his own devices when his new rolling trick kicked into high gear PLUS he still needs his swaddle for the startle reflex. And we all know once baby starts rolling the swaddle gets kicked to the curb! ENTER THE TRANQUILO SAFE SWADDLE!!! HOLY CRAP WHAT A LIFESAVER! First off, let me just say that I think this product is well-made and the velcro is nice and strong. We've probably all ordered an amazon product that was cheaply made and disappointing. Not so with this product. It's also certainly strong enough for my kiddo who arches his back and tries to launch himself onto his belly. Even when he's frustrated and trying to roll HE ISN'T GOING ANYWHERE! What is so glorious about this product is I can pair it with the swaddle that allows his hands around his face due to the fact that the swaddle has a slit in the back near the bottom. I am able to unzip the bottom of the swaddle, slip the flap that goes between the legs through the slit and "buckle him in" snugly. My kiddo now has the swaddle he loves, his startle reflex is taken care of, he can even suck his little swaddled hands (can you say teething?) and it's all possible to this incredible swaddle harness thingy! The reason I said this EXCEEDED my expectations is because he sleeps BETTER with it than without it. I think the swaddle harness gives him the sensation of being snug and secure around his belly, kind of like a warm hug and tight, comforting swaddle. I can now do our naptime routine, lay him down, "buckle him in" and he drifts off to sleep without a peep for 3 hours. It's a beautiful thing. I HIGHLY HIGHLY reccomend this to any parent that wants the utmost peace of mind about their baby's safety. I feel so much better about transitioning him to the crib at bedtime now because I feel he is safe and unable to roll and become stuck facedown. When he can freely roll back and forth and is coordinated enough to be without this I will discontinue use but until then this is a lifesaver! THANK YOU FOR MAKING THIS TRANQUILO!!!

Thank GOD this exists
I don’t know why I didn’t buy the sooner but I’m really glad this product is on Amazon. About a few days ago I woke up to my son, screaming in his bassinet, thinking he was just ready to be diaper changed, and fed which he usually always is when he wakes up screaming and crying. However, I had found he had rolled onto his face while in his full body swaddle. To say I had a heart attack would be an understatement. After that, I had extreme anxiety about putting him in the basinet. I did some searching on Amazon and I found this. Let me tell you ever since I bought this. I can put them in the bassinet strap him in this, and sleep peacefully for a few hours until he wakes up again. I’ve been using it a few nights now and have had no issues. This truly keeps him secure and unable to roll on his face. Unfortunately, I have to retire the swaddles because after that incident, I will never feel comfortable putting them in the bassinet without this strap on him. What’s really crazy is my baby is 6 weeks old and he was technically still 5 weeks old when he was able to roll, which blows my mind. If your baby is starting to show signs that they can possibly roll in the bassinet, go ahead and purchase this now. As a new Mom there’s already enough anxiety with other things, save yourself any future anxiety, and buy this. I do think it was a little bit expensive, but it does really work so it was worth every penny. Highly recommend.

Best thing sold on amazon for moms with postpartum anxiety
I would never sleep a single night with out this strap. I have been using this strap my son was 3 months old and he will not sleep with out it now. So much so that when I say him done ( now 7 months old) he will pull the strap over his belly and wait for me to put it on him! He can roll from side to side to get comfortable being NOT ON HIS STOMACH! That was and still is my BIGEST fear. All tho his doctor said he is safe now at 7 months to sleep without it because he can roll from tummy to back I KNOW we BOTH sleep better at knight with the strap. I know he is safe and he likes the feeling of being held. He will start to wake and he will roll and the strap will stop him from rolling and as soon as he feels that pull he goes right back to sleep! As if he where rolling in my arms. I make it loose enough that he can sleep on his side and he likes that. The Velcro is loud when you pull it apart to get them out of the strap but I don’t mind that because that means it’s safe and strong and does it’s job. I can take him out of the strap and him stay asleep if I peel it back really slow lol as not to make the loud noise to change his diaper. He WILL use this strap till he is 12 months! This is the best thing I have ever perched on Amazon and for a min struggling with postpartum anxiety this is A LIFE SAVER knowing my baby is safe while he sleeps.

Peace of mind and sleep training aid
I don’t know if I could advocate that this product increases sleep quality, because I think that’s a different beast in entirety. But it’s definitely a very helpful sleep aid for our little one. We are in the process of sleep training and she refuses to stay on her back. She fusses and rolls around until she eventually falls asleep on her stomach. Since she is still unable to roll from stomach to back, it made me really nervous to leave her asleep in that position. And what’s worse is that she would position her head completely face down. Whether or not she would have been fine, I was not getting any sleep knowing she was positioned in such a dangerous way. This little gadget ensures that she’s staying on her back, which has made sleep training infinitely easier for me. We fight hard to finally get her to sleep and the last thing I want to do is adjust her head or roll her over onto her back for safe sleeping. I’m hoping to stop using it once she can more comfortably roll bath ways, but for now I’m so glad we have it. I would definitely recommend if you have a little rolly polly like us for peace of mind! Only con is the Velcro is SO loud. You really have to get it attached right the first time or you’ll for sure wake a snoozing baby trying to adjust it. But the Velcro is super strong so I don’t think there’s a way around it.

Immediate success in transitioning to crib!
My baby was only able to comfortably sleep in a RNP due to reflux. I knew I needed to start moving away from it but I was taking my time...until they were recalled! We knew we had to take action immediately. I had purchased this strap to try out but never got around to using it and was going to return it, so I went and grabbed it, strapped my baby in...and he’s slept in his crib since, no issue. The Velcro is loud, just like all the other reviews say, but that’s not an issue at all for our situation, he sleeps through the night. He has always struggled to sleep in new places...but this little clothes miracle has changed everything. He slept happily in a pack n play (with a nice mattress), a crib at his grandfathers house, his own crib. It’s almost like a security blanket so he feels comfort even in new places with this and his favorite blanket. I honestly cannot day enough good things about this device. Every attempt to transition to crib was a nightmare that ended with my baby standing at the side crying because he didn’t like to lay flat with no support. The literal first night we used this, it changed everything. So if you are worried about squirmy babies rolling and waking themselves up, transitioning from a supported/inclined sleeping apparatus, etc...this is what you want. Additional notes: • My baby has slept through the night for a while, he lays down wide awake and goes out on his own, that’s why the Velcro doesn’t bother us, and I never gave it any thought, but it is quiet loud. • My baby moved to the crib at around 8 months old. He is now 9 months old, 33 inches, and 25 pounds. I am still very comfortable using this product with his size, and mobility. I can tell he’s much more comfortable using this, than just rolling around in his crib. • I HAVE seen him sit fully up while strapped into this, once, when my husband hadn’t attached the bad to the mattress tight enough. It was in the morning so it wasn’t a big deal • To get a proper fit, I take the crib mattress all the way out of the crib, and lay it over the band so I can smooth it it, and ensure it’s on good and tight. Once I realized taking the mattress to the floor worked, attaching the band is a piece of cake.

Too small
My son just started rolling over to sleep on his side at about 4 1/2 months. One morning I came in to find him facedown and I panicked. I immediately ordered this. While I waited for this product to arrive I ended up safety pinning the sides of his sleep sack to the sheet. It worked but I don’t feel comfortable using a safety pin in my baby’s crib every night. This product definitely keeps him from rolling over, however it is too small. My son is now 5 months old and 18 lbs. he is able to rollover onto his stomach but has not yet learned to roll from his stomach onto his back, and if he’s sleeping he definitely will not roll onto his back on his own. This is a really good concept but the strap insert should come in multiple sizes as your baby grows. It is recommended to have your baby sleep on their back for the first year of life, and I’m afraid he won’t fit into this in another month or two. I’ll have to figure out another solution until he turns 1. Also velcro is very loud and has woken him up. I have to be very careful when lining up the velcro and if I’m off by an inch I have to open it up and redo it which can extend the time it takes to get him to fall asleep and put him in the crib for the night. Overall it’s a great idea, but the product needs some adjustments to make it suitable for all babies and parents.

8 weeks old and sleeping 7-8 hours at night
I can’t even begin to describe how amazing this has been. My daughter (will be 8 weeks tomorrow) was initially sleeping in a bedside bassinet in our room in a snuggle me (I know I know but it was all that worked. Not to mention we have an owlet). 2 issues were: 1- we didn’t want her to continue sleeping in the snuggle me. 2. Our 4 dogs sleep in our room as well and it is not quiet. I tried to lay her down during the day to see how she would do in the crib but she’s not good at non-contact naps so that didn’t work well. We did the snuggle me in her crib for 2 nights with her halo sleep sack (and her owlet!) and she did great. So I knew I needed to find a better solution. I kept looking at this product not sure if it was too good to be true but I figured “hey it’s worth a shot!” The first day it came in we put it in the crib and laid her down between 9-10pm. She fell right to sleep and didn’t wake up until 3! Over a week later and she’s now consistently sleeping from 9-10pm to 4-5am. Best decision we have ever made and she’s not even 2 months old yet! If you are thinking of buying this! Do it. As each night goes on it doesn’t get anything but better. To clarify a complaint on other reviews….yes the Velcro is loud but we only have to undo it after she is already awake and moving so it’s not a big deal.

Good. But...
As described, it works well. Only giving 4 stars because the fabric is thick and not soft at all, so it's always wrinkly. I also recommend washing it separately from other clothes, as the Velcro would stick to them even if you attach it before putting it in the washer

Effective for belly sleepers as well 👌
LOVE! LOVE! LOVE! Im ordering a 2nd one because it's been so helpful. Now i know this is controversial but incade there are ppl out there with a similar problem to what we had. We actually have a baby (6months old) that sleeps on her belly but she wakes herself by hitting the sides of the cot or flipping from her belly to her back and not being able to flip back to her belly (yet). So we put her on her belly in this wrap and she has slept amazing ever since 👌. Highly recommend. I like that I know she is safe in the middle of the bed and cannot wiggle down beneath her blankets. The only downside is the velcro is a bit loud when you undo it and the baby gets a fright the first few times but then they get used to it and ive had no problem getting my baby to go back to sleep after she wakes and we get her out to feed.

Love it!
This has stopped our baby from rolling over to his tummy. But he can still sleep on his side - it’s been a game changer!
