Very comfortable.
I like this design. I like how the front rotates all the way to the back of the head. It keeps the weight of the helmet balanced in my opinion. I like the tinted visor and the clear one. Nothing but good things to say about this product. I wear glasses and I'm able to wear them comfortably.

Overall Happy Customer
Ordered this helmet because I bought a new bike and I am about safety first. One of the selling points of this helmet was the modular function. I hadn't seen anything like this before and I like to stand apart from the rest. I ordered the helmet without trying it on of course and after looking at a measuring chart from a different product, I ordered the Large size. Shipping, packaging and handling was absolutely no problem and I was very happy about that part. I went to put the helmet on for the first time and had a really hard time getting it on. When I got it on I caught a headache pretty much right away due to how tight it was. Attached to the helmet was a tag that reads "If your helmet size is not right, contact our customer service with your order number and we will send you a replacement liner for your helmet." So I went through the process, contacted CS and was sent the XL liner which is basically the padding that comes in contact with your ears. CS provided tracking information for the replacement and they came via snail mail within a few days. After changing the liner, helmet fits great, not really heavy (But you can tell that you are wearing a lid), doesn't move around which made me feel very secure. I was also able to put the helmet on and take it off while wearing my glasses. Took it for a test ride today and felt great, no issues with my line of site from left to right and top to bottom. Very easy to work the modular face part with one hand, while riding and with gloves on. Both shields are easy to adjust while riding and or not riding. But, speaking of the shields, I did notice that having the shield(s) down completely, when you breath normally, the plastic will fog up. Unless this is due to the colder weather, I could see this being a problem. Maybe there is an anti-fogging product that I can use so this doesn't happen in the future. I would rather not ride with the clear shield half way open just to not experience fogging. Overall, I think this lid is great and will be adding the Bluetooth headset soon. Great customer service, I am 99% satisfied. So if you are looking at this lid and you measure out to be a large, order the XL and you will not have any issues with the sizing.

Idea vs Reality... My Two Cents Non-Professional Review
My two cent review. I think that sometimes there's an idea of something and then there's the reality of it. This is a good product with a few things that prevent it from being great in my opinion. A correction to something I said in my video review about padding in the front of the chin bar - I didn't mean to make it sound as if this is the only helmet that has that issue, It's not...it's just that the chin bar on this helmet seems a little bit more expansive so you notice more how much of it is without any kind of buffer. Overall, I like this ILM but there are a few discrepancies that prevent me from loving it.

YOU GET WHAT YOU PAID FOR. RUNS SMALL
As you can see, the prior owner? person who bought this helmet ripped the box (was suppose to be new; not an opened box product :( ) I measured my head multiple times, kept coming up with 23.25". This is not my first helmet, by the way. I ordered a large. I have a round head, so I thought this would be great. Well, sorry to say, I was wrong. First of all, it was not new; the box had been ripped open by someone else (lovely). When I felt the inner padding, I thought, 'gee, maybe they forgot some padding'. It really felt like there was so little padding; I do still wonder if some of it is missing?? I decided to try it on. I felt it pull hair out by the roots! Yes, my hair goes to my shoulder blades, but not as long as Crystal Lewis! I have been riding for many years, never did I have a helmet catch hair and pull on the way on. Ok, after getting it past the ears, which was painful, I finally had it on...but it felt like there was still room at the top for my head. Weird. It tore out one of my earrings while trying to (very carefully) take the helmet off. This was a stud earring, not a dangly one. Once it was on, i couldn't hear my hubby asking me how it fits, so it does eliminate sound (my hubby was getting frustrated with me by this point anyways, so one added star for sound). However, trying to work the visors was comical. There are no levers outside of the helmet to put sun visor up and down, you have to do it manually, cutting the vision while riding makes this a 'no thank you' to this model. I am bummed. I really wanted to give high praises for this helmet. I am sorry to say, if you do order it, especially if you are not bald, you might want to put a hair protector on prior to wearing this helmet. Also, you might want to order a larger size. I wish I could draw a picture, think of an old fashioned light bulb. That is what the helmet seems to be modeled after; not a human with hair or ears. I know there is a 'break in' period for helmets, but this was ridiculous! I returned it as soon as I could (same day as receiving). If anyone knows of a decent modular helmet for a round head that is reasonably priced; please let me know!

Great helmet at a great price!
Love the functionality of this helmet. I have a bluetooth and hightail on it, now it's perfect. To address the fogging, yes it does do it at cooler or more humid temps. You can fix that buy adding some anti-fog spray to the lens or popping the lens up a little, which gives you a little more air. 3 vents above your fave gives great ventilation. Very easy to convert the helmet from drop down shades to clear shield, to flip back chin and front again. I can do it all while rising. After adding the Bluetooth it filled in the space around the ears and helped a lot with the wind noise. The inside is so soft and comfortable. I definitely recommend if you don't want to spend $300 on a helmet.

EVERYTHING about this TOY ILM HELMET is CHEAPLY MADE
EVERYTHING about this TOY ILM HELMET is CHEAPLY MADE though the price is higher than one I bought to take it's place. It took me less than 5 minutes to decide to return it...then I tried it on anyway and confirmed how cheap every part is. The two face shields are only hand operated with lips on each shield thus must have the front shield in up position merely to lower or raise the tinted shield.... dangerous while riding under most conditions. The little tiny vent holes at front of helmet are totally blocked with the face shield in raised position. Yes, one still needs air flow from the top while using as an open face helmet. You won't get it with this helmet. The inside material looks and feels like it will come apart within a few sweaty rides. The latch is rough operating and doesn't feel as if it would stay secure under stress. The mechanisms that unlatch the front face bar (full helmet operation) and allow it to rotate feel and sound like they wouldn't last through many operations. They feel rough as they rotate. The plastic shell simply feels like flexible and cheap plastic The paint job (mine was white) looked real good though if it is as cheap as everything else, it won't last either. One would have to be totally out of their mind to trust this helmet for protection while riding a motorcycle over 10 or 15 mph! Whoever certified this helmet needs to be investigated for fraud. Personally, I would NOT TRUST it to protect me while riding my bicycle....much less on a motorcycle or ATV where more SERIOUS INJURY can occur with a head-strike due to speed and absolutely would occur if wearing this helmet in a serious impact accident at anything over 10 or 15 mph. This helmet would be a good (though expensive) TOY HELMET for your little kid riding a tricycle. Even the packing was absurd..... a huge box with only packing paper on bottom allowing the helmet to bounce around in the box. NO, I do NOT recommend purchasing this item.

I would buy this again and for more money
Ive ridden probably over 3k miles in this helmet already and its amazing. Multiple long days in the helmet all day and Very comfortable. Is it noisy, yes but show me a full modular that isn’t. I ride a road glide with a 10” windscreen so its not horrible. If the helmet is fully closed its because it’s raining. Not worried about hearing my music so much in a down pour! The versatility of this helmet is awesome. Could operating the various shields be easier? maybe but for the money and how this helmet looks i will take how the shields operate all day long. Don’t be afraid to buy this helmet because of the great price! If you don’t have a decent sized fairing to keep some of the wind off you, might consider something other than a modular! Good luck and be safe!
