Contrary to one reviewer, I do not use this mounting method to look like a real photographer. Really?These attachments afford one a quick release buckle to separate strap from camera. Why do that? Because straps can sometimes get in the way (hand-held, tripod, storing).These appear to be well made of adequate strength and durability, and will fit any type of camera eyelet.For $6, you can’t go wrong.

These camera quick release connectors are good additions for any camera straps.  So, the camera straps can be released quickly.  However, the buckles are still on the camera.  It does not look good.   Have you ever seen a professional photographer working this way?  It is only adding a few more seconds of time to remove the buckles from the camera, as the camera strap has already been released.  I call it "easy release", that is just one more easy step in addition to the quick release of the strap.  Now, you look like a real photographer!
