Crusader Knight Statue Silver Finishing Cold Cast Resin Statue 7" (8713)

This is one of a full set that I had to have as soon as I realized there was more than one available. Searching for "Crusader Knight Statue Silver" revealed the 5 different knights. My first two arrived tonight and I am more than pleased and now even more eager for the arrival of the remaining three. The pictures don't do these pieces justice. The finish is bold and shiny, and the detail is stunning. This sculpture (8713) is unique being the only knight with an open-face helmet showing features. The demo image seems to show a red gem boss, but that is actually a gold-painted boss reflecting light in the photo. This figure has a lot of small gold embellishment. Overall, the whole set is reasonably priced for the detail and quality. I paid just over $160 for all 5 with tax, shipping & handling charges. I think the statuettes are beautiful and I am very happy with the purchase.

I loved this purchase. I was uncertain if it would be a solid piece that could last an extended period of time, but when I received it I was very please with the weight and sturdiness of the statue. I was getting it for my husband on our anniversary and I didn't want it to be a cheesy gift. I felt that this was a nice piece and it looked more detailed than I expected. I was very pleased with it.

Being a big fan of fantasy literature and medieval times, I've always wanted my own knight in shining armor. This 7" high Crusader Knight Statue is of fine quality resin made to look like real metal, is lightweight but very sturdy and solid, and a nice decorative piece to grace my bookshelves. These definitely do not look cheaply made. I bought two different statues in this set to compliment each other and I must say they look great. Perhaps I'll purchase more later on because I would definitely like to add to this collection. A very cool conversation piece! Overall very pleased with this purchase.

I like most everything about this. Material could have been 'pot metal'-like material. It is not. Sturdy. I sanded lightly the area I decided to paint so it grips a little better. After all, I had to paint because what is a Knights Templar without a white robe over chain mail and red cross on their chest? For the life of me, I can't understand why the mouth is distorted. Only answer is it happened in the pour and they didn't want to fix, so they passed it on. I'm lucky, I own tools to fix this but most people don't.

I was disappointed that the red paint was not on the statue I received, as this stood out on the photograph, and was the reason I bought it. The figure itself is superb and detailed. I have had no issues with this company for previous purchases from them, but may think twice from now on, especially with this type of lightly 'painted' model.
