I used this to pluck some Cornish Broilers. It seems to work really well. I think water temperature is important and had the best luck at 160 degrees with two or three dips in the scalding pot. With the proper water temp the large majority of the feathers came off in a few minutes per bird. I will be using it more as I have several more to process. I would buy again and although I don't have it very long, it seems to be made very well and should last a long time. Good for they guy that don't process a large number but maybe 15 or 30 birds at a time just for self use. Either way its way better than hand plucking.

I bought it being skeptical that a product priced so could do the job promised. But it worked and it earned my respect. I even bought a second one.We four that it works better with a corded adjustable speed drill then with a battery. One duck drained the entire battery. and it did a better job on a low/medium speed.

Yes, This thing works. We bought it because we raise meat chickens and I didn't want to hand pluck any poopy wet feathers anymore and get them all stuck to my hands. BUT instead of them getting on my hands they were projected into the air and it was a poopy bloody feather explosion that splatters the person holding the drill and the person holding the bird. My husband and I looked like a horror show when we were done with 11 chickens. We will be trying out different ways of using this plucker like having the bird in a barrel or hanging up from a hook in the woods. This product WORKS it is FAST and It is easy to clean. It cleans the chickens great and in record time after scalding them but it just shoots said feathers out all over your feet. Yuck.

Easy to use. Good quality. I did 6 birds as a first timer and the plucking went way faster than I thought using this drill attachment.

It was well built and stout but I was better and faster hand plucking. Don't waste your $

After multiple times trying to pluck pekins, I've given up. I know the skin is usually yummy...but I asked myself..WHY PLUCK A BIRD! Eventually I gave up, its SOOOO much faster just to skin them! Plucking a duck takes easily two hours and makes a massive mess. Skinning, I can do it in about 30 minutes. I don't pluck them anymore, not worth it!
