Frigidaire 60 Pint Dehumidifier

I purchased this dehumidifier last summer 2025 and used it for 3 months. I took it out of the storage in late June 2026 and it worked fine for a few weeks then it started making loud noises. Then it stopped working 3 days ago. Basically I used this unit for about 4 months and it died. I called Frigidaire support, they said the unit was out of 1 year warranty just few days and they refused to replace it. Terrible!!! I will never used this brand again. Please avoid this brand at all cost.

We purchased this humidifier in December 2024, and in May 2026 it stopped dehumidifying. It runs and the sensor for the room humidity works, but it doesn't pull any moisture out of the air. Of course, the warranty is 1 year so we are SOL. If you are looking for a reliable dehumidifier, this brand/model is not it.

We just bought a second one for inside the house. By far the best dehumidify we've owned. We have had one for over seven years in the garage, still works great!!

Bought this in March 2026 and the compressor stopped working in August. Absolute garbage. Never again.

I have the 60 qt model and it works as expected, except..... The plastic bucket that holds the water has split in two places after just 2 years of gentle use. And a replacement bucket is $200 from Frigidaire. The first split is from the front of the bucket, from the top down through the sight glass (plastic). It extends to just below the fill line. So it was leaking once it got almost full, but never shot off because it didn't fill all the way to trigger the auto shutoff. I used some waterproof Flextape on both sides and it has held for a couple months. Recently a split developed across the bottom in the right rear a couple of inches from the edges. Again, some Flextape on both sides and it is holding. Pretty crappy for a $400 - $500 dehumidifier to use such brittle plastic on a part that gets handled several times a week. And then charge $200 for a replacement bucket. It has been a good product other than those leaks, which is a big deal, as I'm sure there will be more......

Would have been great… if it didn’t leak. Left a puddle underneath during normal operation. This is with the tank properly seated and the cap tight on the back.
