BUILD QUALITY Absolutely terrible craftsmanship. The brass feels cheap, the fittings don’t align properly, and the threads are rough right out of the box. The gauge looks and performs like a knockoff — readings are inconsistent and far from accurate. It’s shocking how poorly this thing is put together. INSTALLATION EXPERIENCE What a nightmare. No matter how much Teflon tape or pipe dope you use, it will leak. I reinstalled it multiple times thinking I’d missed something, but the issue is in the construction itself. Each attempt wasted more fittings, sealant, and hours of frustration. PERFORMANCE When it wasn’t leaking, the gauge readings jumped around like a bad lie detector test. It never gave a stable or reliable pressure readout, and adjusting the flow made no real difference. This isn’t a regulator—it’s a decoration that drips. COST & WASTE Beyond the purchase price, I lost a small fortune in ProPress fittings trying to make this thing work. Add in wasted water and time, and it’s easily the most expensive “cheap” tool I’ve ever bought. QUALITY CONTROL Judging by other reviews I later read, this isn’t an isolated case. It seems like every other buyer ran into the same issues—leaks, faulty gauges, bad machining. Clearly, there’s zero quality control here. VALUE FOR MONEY None whatsoever. You’ll spend more money fixing what this product ruins than you ever saved by buying it. FINAL VERDICT I wish I had read the reviews before ordering. This regulator is trash—poorly made, inaccurate, and impossible to seal. Do yourself a huge favor and avoid this brand entirely unless you enjoy wasting time, money, and patience.

Great for reducing household pressure for those appliances that just need a trickle of pressure, like electric fire places that generate vapor to simulate the look of flames. The FP that I used this on requires less than .5 psi of pressure. And this PRV did just the right job.

These water pressure regulators work well. The water pressure coming into my property is 90 lbs/sq.in. I put a regulator in my house and bought this one for my playroom I built in my shop. If you use standard fittings like a brass pex fitting, these regulators will leak. They are machined to match the taper thread. I've had this occur on the 1/2" and 3/4" regulators. Before you assemble, cut an 1/8" off the threads of the fitting you're using. No amount of tape or pipe dope will seal it. This will allow the taper in the treads to seal and the fitting won't bottom out in the regulator.

If you’re looking for a product that will get down to a very low pressure this will not work. Tried it on my rabbit pen. Need to keep pressure down to about 5 pounds and it was too much for the plastic line. It would break the line.

worked for what I needed

I hired a master plumber to install this part, the thread on the unit were not good, so it leaked after being installed. I’m glad I bought the more expensive Watt unit also in case this one didn’t work. The plumber did have a good part to put in. They shipped quickly Also upset I couldn’t return, missed by 2 days

Convient parfaitement pour ce que je voulais installer, deux douchettes wc. Il n'y a pas de notice explicative pour régler la pression, mais en cherchant on y arrive. Le ruban d'étanchéité est a mon avis trop épais. Mais c'est vraiment bien.
