Will a scotch brite dishwand fit inside the center opening?

I put a dishwand through mine. I don't think mine is the same brand but I think it should work.

Can I put this over the faucet or faucet handle to hold my brush?

Absolutely! It is pliable enough to pull over the faucet & handle, then you can adjust it to where you want it hanging. It’s the best answer I’ve come up with for kitchen sponges. The metal ones rust and the suction cups don’t hold. We love ours
