A Must-Have Upgrade for Meta Quest 3 Users! I recently purchased the BOBOVR M3 Pro Battery Pack Head Strap for my Meta Quest 3, and I couldn't be happier with the upgrade. This accessory has transformed my VR experience in the best way possible. Pros: First off, the comfort level is fantastic! The default headstrap for the Quest 3 was okay, but the BOBOVR M3 Pro takes it to another level. I've noticed that I can comfortably play for much longer sessions without any discomfort or fatigue. The multiple adjustment options are a game-changer, especially the clicking wheel mechanism at the back, which allows for a snug and secure fit every time. The included battery is another major plus. It almost doubles the playtime compared to the stock battery, which means fewer interruptions and more immersive gaming sessions. The magnetic battery swap design is brilliant, making it super easy to switch batteries without any hassle. Cons: My only minor gripe is with the USB-C cable that connects the battery to the headset. It's a bit longer than necessary, but it's not a deal-breaker. It still works great and doesn't interfere too much with the overall experience. Had this a few weeks now, play mostly sports games on the quest which are quite active and the strap that comes with the quest 3 was pretty uncomfortable. Hard to be certain if that's to keep costs down or entice you to buy the elite strap. This 3rd party offering is pretty comfortable, feels quite sturdy and well made but I haven't had it too long. The battery does extend play time which is handy especially if playing in AR / pass through mode on the Q3. Battery is also easy to swap out (I bought a spare) as it's a simple magentic connection, you don't even have to take the head strap off. So far so good!

Item came quick Easy to attach to the meta quest 3 Very comfortable but, and this could just be me but bear in mind. I don’t have a big head but get the strap in a position where it’s all feel secure is a pain in the b**t, it feels nice and snug but after a short while the googles feels loose and I feel like it’s going to fall off. I’m not sure what the battery is doing? It doesn’t charge in my meta quest charger dock, I have to take it off to charge but when I’m using the head set I feel like it’s running off the head set batter and the batter on the strap is doing nothing? If I am doing something wrong feel free to let me know . Other wise it’s a decent strap, I just feel I’m missing some key points *edit - it doesn’t charge the extra battery, you need to charge that separately. So when I first test it the battery wasn’t charging the googles because it was flat

Arrived well packaged easy to fit with simple instructions. The battery makes it heavier but extends playtime but you can use the headset without it until you need it. Miles better than the stock fat elastic strap you get with the quest.

Much more comfortable than the standard strap, good quality. I like the way that the battery snaps on magnetically, so you can do this whilst wearing the headset.

A quick review of this head strap for my Metaquest. Very briefly it is brilliant and transformed my time in VR. I found the strap supplied with the Metaquest very uncomfortable, I could not use it for too long as I found it actually painful to wear. If this is you I recommend this Bobovr strap as a solution. It also has a battery pack to extend gameplay. Fitting strap initially is a bit fiddly, but there are plenty of YouTube videos showing how to do it

Really an amazing headstrap! It's not that heavy when it comes to using it, and then you have the battery on it it's very well balanced! The adjustable parts are really easy to use/adjust and ur pretty much good to go out the box! Amazing value for money, would recommend to anybody who wants more comfort/confidence or longer sessions in VR

Wat een fijne headset voor mijn Meta VR bril. De batterij is ook perfect. Beetje zwaar op het hoofd maar dat vind ik niet hinderlijk. Veel beter dan de standaard hoofdband.

Der Standard-Head-Strap der Meta Quest 3 eigentlich ganz okay. Bei längerer Nutzung empfand ich ihn jedoch zunehmend als unbequem und insgesamt eher „billig“. Deshalb habe ich mich für eine Alternative entschieden: den BOBOVR M3 Pro Strap. Anfangs war ich wegen des relativ hohen Preises etwas skeptisch – im Nachhinein kann ich aber sagen: ein absoluter Gamechanger für die Meta Quest 3 (S). Qualität & Verarbeitung: Die Materialqualität und Verarbeitung sind sehr gut. Zwar wirken die Seitenschienen auf den ersten Blick etwas filigran, sie erweisen sich jedoch als stabil und hochwertig. Auch die Polster fühlen sich wertig an und sind angenehm weich. Tragekomfort: Der Tragekomfort ist deutlich besser als beim Standard-Head-Strap. Durch die gut gepolsterten Auflageflächen merkt man nach kurzer Zeit kaum noch, dass man eine VR-Brille trägt. Der integrierte Akku bringt zwar zusätzliches Gewicht mit, das ist in diesem Fall aber sogar ein Vorteil: Da das Gewicht der Quest 3 beim Standard-Strap stark nach vorne zieht, sorgt der Akku hinten für ein angenehmes Gegengewicht. Das Headset sitzt dadurch ausgewogener und drückt nicht, vorausgesetzt, es ist korrekt eingestellt. Man sollte sich jedoch bewusst sein, dass dieses Headstrap insgesamt etwas schwerer ist als das Original. Funktionalität: Der zusätzliche Akku ermöglicht längere VR-Sessions. Zur genauen Laufzeit kann ich keine feste Angabe machen, da diese stark von der Nutzung abhängt (Gaming, Office, Kino usw.). Eine leichte Geräuschentwicklung des Akkus ist wahrnehmbar, fällt aber nach kurzer Zeit kaum noch auf und rückt schnell in den Hintergrund. Die Größenverstellung erfolgt über ein Drehrad auf der Rückseite. Die Einrastfunktion ist praktisch, allerdings etwas laut. Montage: Die Montage ist insgesamt sehr einfach und wird in der mitgelieferten Anleitung gut erklärt. Einzig der Obergurt, der an der Brille befestigt wird, kann etwas knifflig sein. Tipp: Ein kleines Stück Klebeband (z. B. Malerkrepp) am Gurt befestigen, das Klebeband durch die Öffnung einfädeln und anschließend daran ziehen – so lässt sich der Gurt problemlos durchziehen. Pro & Kontra im Überblick Pro: - Sehr hoher Tragekomfort, deutlich weniger Druck auf dem Kopf - Zusätzliche Akkulaufzeit für längere VR-Sessions - Hochwertige Materialien und Verarbeitung - Cleveres Akkusystem mit Magnetverbindung - Einfache Installation (abgesehen vom Obergurt) Kontra: - Leichte Akkugeräusche können anfangs ungewohnt sein - Erhöhtes Gesamtgewicht - Mitgelieferter Akku mit vergleichsweise geringer Kapazität (5.200 mAh) Fazit: Ja, es gibt kleinere Schwächen – diese empfindet jedoch jeder unterschiedlich. Mich persönlich stören sie überhaupt nicht. Der Preis wirkt zunächst hoch, dafür erhält man ein sehr gut verarbeitetes Headstrap mit externem Akku, deutlich verbessertem Tragekomfort und sinnvoller Gewichtsverteilung. Ich vergebe 5 Sterne, da der BOBOVR M3 Pro Strap für mich ein echtes Upgrade und eine klare Empfehlung für die Meta Quest 3 ist.

Much more comfortable than the original strap that came with the Quest. The battery pack is also great so I can play longer.

The original Quest 3 setup was so front-heavy for me, and the headset kept sliding down my face and giving me headaches. This strap completely fixed that! It holds the Quest securely in place so it doesn't slide down anymore, and it is super comfortable. It feels high quality and was really easy to install. A huge bonus is that my children can easily adjust it on their heads by themselves now. The magnetic battery works great and adds a couple more hours of playtime. Highly recommend!
