A great mini glue gun!
To be honest, Iโve always purchased the very inexpensive glue guns at Walmart. For example Iโve never gotten anything like this one but this one came recommended from a DIY video I was watching so I purchased it. It has a rubber trigger and handle that is an ergonomic plus!! it also has an auto shut off which was kind of annoying because Iโd like to plug my glue gun in and leave it next to me and have it ready and waiting when I am working on my DIY projects and sometimes I donโt use it right away and I look over and the light shut off but that is a very good thing that it does have that auto shut off, so I really canโt complain Also the dual temperature is some thing that the video I was watching recommended and I did not realize that I needed that but it is a nice feature. It has a smaller tip, so the glue will come out in a smaller area and not a great big blob like most glue guns Iโve used have done. It also has a protector around the tip that keeps from burning in case you do touch it. but I suggest you donโt touch it lol I really really like this glue gun and I highly recommend it. It comes in several different varieties. It has the one with the auto shut off thereโs the one with the dual temperature mode, and thereโs the full size glue gun, and the mini glue gun. This brand I believe is a very good brand, and I would again highly recommend this purchase.

Hot glue guns and young kids...it is INDEED possible!
Okay, experiment with hot glue gun and my children (5 & 7, boy & girl) was hugely successful today. We had a "safety first" discussion followed by a practice session on cardboard where I had them do squiggles and straight lines. Then, we tackled some basic wooden Popsicle assembly followed by attaching decorations onto the Popsicle creations. These are a great size for little hands and I love that it has a high/low setting as well as an auto-off feature after 30 mins of no use. I highly recommend purchasing silicone finger cots to help avoid burns...I had these and we had NO accidents/burns. Next we plan on tiling some pre-made little wooden boxes we picked up at Hobby Lobby (daughter's idea) and then who knows...what I do know is that I have two very excited kids with all kinds of crazy, creative ideas floating around in their heads now! Great product.

new and improved.
I have an old Surebonder that I still use but needed another one to do other projects with. WOW The newer one has some upgrades I didn't know about. The base is very sturdy. I set it down, it stays. It now has a small light to let you know your glue gun is on. The trigger handle is larger and easier to pull. The kick stand is much more sturdy than the old ones. So glad I got the newer one.

Too Lightweight For Me
It is a good glue gun and does the job but I personally would like to have one this size with a little weight to it. It is too easy to knock it over and sometimes when I set it down if I don't watch it will fall over. Another issue I have with most all glue guns is the power cord. Do these manufacturers think we sit beside a power outlet and do all our crafts/projects? I use a power strip at my craft table but I still have to work closer than I want because of the short cord. This is only one of six glue guns I have. I don't need the $120.00 glue gun because I only do crafts for myself and a few friends and can't justify the price but if I am going to keep buying glue guns at $12.00 or more a piece I think it would only make sense to spend the money on the larger one. So, here goes; Dear Santa.

Automatic shut off
Love the automatic shut off. Keeps my niece from burning down the house while doing crafts.

The only hot glue gun you will ever need
The absolute best thing about this glue gun is the auto shut off. No more accidentally leaving the glue gun on for hours. This may not be a big deal for you, but I live in a family of forgetful glue users, so yes, super important. Other than that, the gun works pretty much as well as any other if not better, nice stand to keep nozzle off surface, two temp settings, I have 5 of these and no regrets.

Not heavy
Tiny nozzle is very good. No large gobs of hot glue to contend with. Perfect fit in the hand. Very light making it easier to work with. April/2026

Definitely worth the price compared to dollarstore ones
I went from dollarstore glue guns to this one, and the difference is night and day. The old one took minutes to heat up, and required to pull out glue very slowly, and still made you press hard on a tiny trigger that hurt your fingers. And couldn't stand on its own. This one is fast, stands on its own, the large and long lever-action trigger makes it nice to press, and I literally enjoy using it whereas the other one was something i'd reluctantly use.

Great performance in a small package
The Surebonder Mini is perfect for quick household fixes and school projects. The dual temp switch is easy to use and actually makes a noticeable difference in how the glue flows. The Good: It doesn't drip nearly as much as the cheap craft store brands. The glue comes out smooth and the trigger doesn't require a ton of hand strength. The Bad: Keep in mind that this uses mini glue sticks. If you have a large project, youโll be reloading every couple of minutes. Also, the power cord is a bit on the short side. Overall, itโs a solid 4-star product that does exactly what it's supposed to do.

Yep
I needed a glue gun that would auto turn off for my kid who kept forgetting to unplug it. Does the job.
