Sage and Cedar - 5" Smudge Stick - Sage Spirit

I'm a sage person & even though I have used most of the scents of smudge sticks some of them stink. This one doesn't smell like sweaty socks, or anything equally as unpleasant. It has a nice woodsy smell to it (the cedar is lightly fragrant)Shipping was fast, delivered wrapped in a paper & tucked away in a neat cotton bag. I am happy with the purchase. This is a nice size smudge stick & very little was broken on it. I will be ordering again in the future from this company.Price is competitive with the local store in my town.

Love this. Shipping was much quicker than expected, and the stick was way bigger than I thought it would be. Smell was better than previous sage and cedar sticks I've used. Took a little time to get it burning the first time, but once started burns well and I haven't had any trouble getting it started after the first time I used it.

This is the most godawful smelling sage I have ever smelled. Absolutely suffocating and putrid. Smells like it was doused in old lady perfume and buried in a musty wooden box for a decade.All of this paticular variety of sage should be rounded up, put in a bonfire on a wooden ship, and sent out to sea so that the ashes sink to the bottom of the ocean so that nobody would have to smell it ever again.

Tried to use this a couple times but it will not burn well. Disappointing. Smell is as expected.

I ordered the Sage and Cedar smudge stick to use in my home. I light the sage with a wood match and smudge it on a small plate. I noticed that I could not get the smudge stick to burn or light after the first few lights and I had to remove some of the sticks in order to light them separately. I have not had to do this with other smudge sticks and this was somewhat bothersome that I could not light it well at first. It was packed very tightly and required loosening on my part. This was not a big deal to me as this supply will last for a very long time and the quality is good. The smell does not smell like cedar as much but more like sage. It is a very large supply and smaller bunches can be made if needed. I had minimal flaking and feel the sage bunch is very good. Overall, I am satisfied with my order and would order again and recommend.

I've bought other sage and smudge sticks before but I've never had one with cedar mixed in. When I burn this when I could immediately tell the difference and it brought a warm feeling of peace and happiness to me. I would definitely recommend this sage and smudge stick with cedar to anyone wanting to cleanse their home.

I was excited about finding a smudge stick with cedar. I miss the smell of the evergreens in the Pacific Northwest and the cedar walls of the little cabin I rented there.The first hint I had that this might not be what I'd hoped was when I opened the package and there was a lot of loose droppings from the smudge stick. A lot. Like several tablespoons full.The second was the look of the smudge stick itself. There's a lot of twigs here, and not much in the way of leaves. Practically nothing in the way of visible sage.A good whiff of it dry just smelled like really old, dried sticks. Usually, with a smudge stick, you get some of the smell of the original material, sage or cedar or lavender. There's none of that here.I set aside my disappointment thinking that perhaps the scent would come out when it was fired up. Again, all it smelled like was old, dried sticks - burning.I have a sage and lavender smudge stick that's been in on-again, off-again use sitting out in my living room for at least three years that smells better than this, whether burning or not.I took a chance on all the good reviews. Now I'm posting one that's a bit contrary for anyone who might be looking for a real sage and cedar scent. This isn't it. I don't know if I just got an old smudge stick or if the product itself is lacking in quality. Based on what I received, I can't recommend it.

This Sage stick it's wonderful, I have used a couple of packages and I have never been disapointed. I ussually either get some leaves and burn in a bowl, or use the whole stick when heavy cleansing is neede... Either way it's very good
