20-30 Mmhg Compression Stockings for Men & Women, Thigh High Length, Dot Top, Closed Toe, Beige, Medium

I recently had a total left knee replacement, and these compression socks have worked perfectly. I was hesitant to purchase them at first because some of the reviews were mixed, but I’m very glad I did. They fit comfortably, provide excellent compression, and are washable. I’m 6 feet tall, weigh 185 pounds, and purchased a medium—the fit is perfect. Five stars!

This review is for the "Truform 20-30 mmHg Compression Stockings for Men and Women, Thigh High Length": I broke the absolute heck out of my ankle and got reconstructive surgery. The post surgical swelling was so bad it became the primary reason my recovery was delayed. After 2 weeks the surgeon recommended a thigh high compression sock with this preface: "I recommend this to ALL my patients and almost none of them take the advice." I did and couldn't be happier. I'd never used a compression sock before. Speaking to friends who had got me really worried. It seems socks are prone to coming apart, not staying up, or simply not providing consistent graduated compression in the right places and at the correct rate. I shopped for DAYS to try to make a confident and effective purchase. I need my leg! I can not begin to tell you how happy I am with these True Form socks. I only needed 1 sock, so I got 2 pairs to get me through 4 days before I had to run a load of laundry. These things are perfect! It takes a lot of strength to get a sock on and off. Every time I do it I'm convinced I'm going to rip the things but it still hasn't happened. I've read the reviews that say they don't stay up and this hasn't been my experience at all. I'll go a step further and point out that they don't move an inch over the course of my day. The band stays exactly where I put it and I'm putting it on as I climb out of bed in the morning and taking it off when I'm climbing into bed at night. I've been wearing them for a few weeks now and I haven't had to fidget with or adjust a sock once. I've washed them several times making sure to follow Truform's simple instructions, "cold water, like colors" and making sure not to use fabric softeners. I would understand if they fit a little differently after a wash but these did not. They've been consistent and as effective today as they were the first time I put them on. I'll say that I was really meticulous about measuring before I made my purchase. I was well within the range of each measurement for the size I purchased. If you find you're at or outside the range on a measurement I'd probably reach out to Trueform before making a purchase. I'm really REALLY impressed with the product! Thank you Truform. Your product has helped me move better and heal faster.

As advertised. Not easy to get on - very tight but should be. If they were not tight would defeat the purpose of wearing compression hose. They stay in place - laundry well.

I bought these for a vein procedure I had done that I needed compression stockings to wear for a few days afterwards. ITs summer in NYC now and hot and humid and we walk everywhere....I was afraid of a sweaty legs, itchy etc. BUT....I was pleasantly surprised to find this wasnt the case at all. Its very breathable and lots of ventilation... PLUS...having OA in both knees , these made a remarkable difference....less pain and more agile. I know, with knee OA you have the good days and the bad days...but, so far there has been a noticeable difference with less pain... if you're on the fence...get them...try them...nothing really to lose (well, $25) and perhaps A LOT to gain...

I hardly ever write reviews but this is one of those exceptions. I just ordered 4 more pairs of these. After a couple of years shopping on Amazon for compression stockings, I think I found the best ones so far! I usuaI have bought a few other brands and this brand is the the best quality. The toe area is wide and so wiggle toe comfy which is a huge deal since I have an ingrown toenail and therefore I don't need to buy the open toe ones now until summertime! They stay in place better then other brands so I'm not having to hike them back up. I really wish they sold petite lengths!! I have short legs (I'm 5'3") and even if I pull them up almost to my crotch they still will bunch around the knees. So far they haven't gotten loose over time but I've had them only for a few months so I'm curious how long they'll hold out since I have to wear compression stockings practically day in and day out

Updated review two months later. Yes these are great they have feet however I was playing golf with a pair of them on yesterday and the right leg kept slipping down to my knee. When I pulled it up it developed a tear near the top. These are not as robust as a previous pair I had without the full foot which you really cannot put a sock on because it creates a ridge and wearing a sneaker on top of it is just too painful. So these were the answer with the full foot and it's great you can put a sock on or you don't have to put a sock on it and you can wear sneakers all day. However I do not like that they tour so quickly I must've worn them about 10- 15 days and now I have a rip in one. Review when I first bought them two months ago : These have a perfect fit and they stay up unlike the previous pair I bought. I made sure too measure my leg in order to get the right size and the fit was perfect. I really like having the enclosed foot versus the Open foot because the first pair I bought with the foot hanging out was uncomfortable wearing a sneaker with a sock because it would roll up and create a huge bulge that was so uncomfortable then I tried it without a sock and it still rolled up a bit. Not these they just stay right where you put them and the foot feels great and I forget that I have them on.

These are the best ones I found. Once they are on they stay in place until I take them off at night.

Like others, I specifically measured to make sure that I was ordering the appropriate size. These slide down to the knee and below throughout the day regardless of the grips. I ordered two pairs for use after Radiofrequency Ablation of veins in my legs. Naturally, it is critically important to have thigh-high compressions that function properly so that you're not at risk of thrombosis (blood clots) and other issues. When they don't want to stay up, that's a problem. Secondly, both pairs started coming apart around the top elastic portion on the first day that I wore them. You can see in the photos that they have threads coming out in various areas on both pairs. The quality control is considerably lacking. The lower portion of the support feels good and there is room in the toe width, so that is a plus. That's about all that I can really say regarding a positive experience with these.

These are good but the large is only available in the black/charcoal, the medium is a bit small and the xl is too big, it would be good if the large had the same options in colours as all the other sizes do

True to size

These fitted much better than the black version and hold up well. I use 'boy short ' underwear and then have the stockings cover over. I find they stay up longer this way and there is less chance of the rubber dots causing a skin irritation, ( I don't get along with band aid adhesives). The compression appears correct and my legs feel good at the end of the day.
