Purchased as a gift for my aunt who is a lay Eucharistic minister for her church. She absolutely loves it.

As a Christian we have the option to celebrate the 'host' at home or to provide it for or to someone else (the body of Christ) and this is perfect for carrying a limited amount around while maintaining the reverence this type of activity demands. The quality surpassed my expectations and its overall durability and design are great. Description, photograph, website presentation, and what arrived are the same-size, shape, and color matched expectations. I'd recommend it!

Clasp will not stay closed. Needs to be replaced.

My mother uses this Pyx to bring communion to the sick. It is of solid construction dignified in appearance suitable for the Sacrament.

Do not pay attention to reviews regarding the lack of a plastic lining. A pyx, like the ciborium's in your church, should be lined with a precious metal, NEVER PLASTIC! Not sure where or when this practice came to be but it is incorrect.
