Mud, rain, nor sleet
Nothing stops these shoes. I held my breath when I clicked buy and finally let it out this my. These are PRICEY shoes, no doubt. I have more trails than asphalt roads where I live, and I knew I need appropriate shoes.Gravel - I hardly feel or notice the rocks underneath. There’s a stiff plate in the sole that protects against rocks bulging.Mud - The shape of the lugs on the sole provides grip, but also attracts clumps of mud. This shape here also makes it easy to scrape off, which is better than a hiking boot with more intricate lugs.Rain - Just came back from a rain storm run this morning and my feet were dry! And that says a lot because damp socks are a killer when you have 5 miles to go. The outside of this shoe has a coating at puddle level to shield from water, and the rest of the material is water resistant.Weight - For what it does, this shoe is as light as a feather. If you’re looking for a gravel shoe, you can’t get better than these!

Awesome
Was looking for a white shoe - this is ultimate - trail runner - water friendly - looks great - fits big old fat feet like mine - super comfortable - convinced that brooks are the best running company - really focused on people who get outside and run - walk - trails or who want that top level shoe - and yeah running shoes super personal - but found these to be amazing -

Great Trail Running shoe!!!
I’ve just finished a 90km 3-day trail race in the Andes (Patagonia) , and wore these shoes. Very comfortable, good traction (ground mostly dry), and dried very fast after crossing rivers or getting into lakes. Protection worked great too, I kicked a root at full speed going downhill and my foot and shoe were ok. I did land on the ground 😀, just a few scratches. Great product, would buy again.

Would be great if they fit right.
I wanted to love these, but the toe box was too tight for me. I have a huge brooks fan, but these didn’t work well and I had to return them. However, they were light and comfortable. They just were not the right fit for me. I ended up getting another pair of the Brooks Cascadia. I have had 5 pair of these, 3 pair of Ghosts, and 2 pairs of the old pure flows.

Great Fit
I typically size down a half size but for the Brooks Catamount the 12 is perfect. This is now my 3rd pair. I have found these to be the longest lasting comfortable trail runner on the market. I will still use my old pairs with thousands of miles on them occasionally for light walking and running.

#1 trail runner in history. The GOAT!
These shoes are f****** amazing! Most comfortable AND durable shoes I have EVER worn! I use them for doordashing and absolutely beat the s*** out of them. Running, skidding, sliding, dragging, stomping through mud puddles etc. These are honestly worth twice the asking price.#1 trail running shoe of all time. Even if you're not on a trail.

Toe box and length not what I prefer
Nice looking, very light shoes. I wish they would have worked for me, but the toe box was not wide enough for me and the length was a little short. I am averaging around 1500 miles/year. I am used to wearing Asics trail running shoes, but they no longer produce the gel venture 6. The updated gel venture series trail shoes are much cheaper made so I am looking for a replacement. Believe it or not I ended up with a pair of Skechers, but have yet to put enough miles on them to rate.
