Compact, sturdy, and very convenient for safely disposing of insulin pen needles. The small size makes it perfect for travel or home use, and the secure closure gives me peace of mind.

These sharps containers are very convenient and easy to use. They are compact but sturdy, making them easy to store or take with you when needed. I also like that they come in a 3-pack, which is practical to have extras available. Overall, a useful and well-made product.

Sturdy, easy to use. Just don’t close it all the way. There are marks on the slider to show you where to stop to temporarily close the container and a spot showing you where to close permanently. Be careful to not completely close it until full, because it will not open back up. Fits easily in a pocket. Great for on the go and well designed. Well worth the money and can hold quite a few needle caps. Please not, they will not hold the caps over the needle. I will be buying more as needed.

I'm not going to rate it low, because it is a small travel sharps box. This might work well for glucose monitor pin pricks, but please know this does not work for Basal Insulin pen caps like Solostar. Actually, I can't see what would fit threw that hole other then blood sugar checking little needles. The listing says it fits insulin pen needles, but please see my picture as reference.

These are perfect for travel. I do gigs that involve hopping state lines and staying away from home a couple weeks at a time, and this tucks right in my medicine bag with no muss and no fuss. I've also given some away to friends who were going on trips. The lock is solid, but it is easy to accidentally lock it, so I'm always a little bit paranoid I'll waste one accidentally. They feel solid and none have ever broken, and are labeled sufficiently for the trash when you finally lock them. Nowhere around me accepts sharps containers for disposal so the trash is all we have, so this is perfect. Way better than friends who have to use old detergent bottles with stickers and tape.

These are not a good design. They are designed to travel, but you can't shut them securely, because they just slide up to a "closed" position that still leaves a small gap that it could be pushed open from. It's also hard to close them at all, because if you push too hard to close it, you lock it forever. In that way, it's easy to waste them, because the "closed" slot is like 1/8th of an inch from the "locked forever" position. It's a frustrating catch-22 to even try to use them: if you don't push them hard towards "closed," (which is also pushing towards "locked forever"), they aren't shut and the needles fall out. If you do push them hard towards "closed," you could easily unintentionally lock it, and there's no way to unlock it—you just throw it away unused. Plus, one of mine arrived with the sticker that was supposed to prevent locking not attached correctly, so one is already locked. They need a different design. The closing and locking mechanism should not be the same mechanism. There should be at least a button you have to push to lock it or a separate latch or something. These are not reliable in the real world.

Perfect for travel. The small size is very convenient. I ordered a second set since I travel so often.
