This is the perfect size vault for any carry pistol. It can fit and lock under a seat and the finger scanner works perfectly and quick. Beautiful quality construction. Feels and looks solid. Do yourself a favor a favor and buy one of these!

I needed something small to store a defensive weapon in our living room. I wanted something that was fingerprint activated, and high quality. I was familiar with the Vaultek name, and love the SIG brand, so this was a perfect match. The size is great, and the locking/unlocking motion works well. Its a little pricy compared to a lot of the Chinese made ones you can find on Amazon, but its much nicer, and they tend to be much larger. The inside of the lid has slots for thin items like cards. I don't have a use for those. Two things to be aware of: - If you are using the fingerprint reader, its a one touch unlock. If you are using the number pad, you must tap the central button first to wake up the pad, then you can enter your code. - You can't leave the latches unlatched while it is locked. It binds up the locking mechanism.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Great little travel safe. A little smaller than. I would have liked but the step up would be too large. I wasn't able to use the pluck foam because of this. The finger print reader can be erratic at times even thought the same finger is saved multiple times. A samsung smart tag inside works great for tracking.

Excellent build quality. Fingerprint opening works perfectly. Very nice interior, easy to setup with the pluck foam. The exterior seems very durable. I’ve had it tethered under my car seat for a few months banging around and it still looks brand new

I already own a couple Lifepod 2.0's for my full size handguns and have had great experiences with them. The keypads are quick and responsive. I open/lock them couple times a week and change the batteries once a year. The included security cable gives a little peace of mind when transporting in my car. I recently purchased a sig p365 xmacro and when I saw lifepod had this sig collab I bought it. I have a streamlight tlr-7 xsub and holosun eps carry attached and can barely fit the gun with an extra mag. 5 stars if the case were 1" wider.

I absolutely love this case! Unfortunately, my Sig Sauer P365 X Macro with mounted Holosun 507K optics will not fit. The good news is that I have other firearms that can find a home inside the Vaultek security safe. I suppose the moral to the story is that they include the measurements so you can make a decision about the fit on the front end of a transaction not after the fact. Please do not overlook the quality of this product which is simply outstanding! Too bad it will not fit the intended purpose.

Beautiful case without a question. Unfortunately if you have anything bigger the the Sig Sauer 365 X Macro it will not fit. Very easy to use and seems very sturdy but definitely not worth the price tag. This item should definitely not cost more than $120 at Max. Definitely overpriced like anything else you’re paying the extra $80 for the name?
