I bought one for salt and liked it so much I bought a second for my Toney’s spice. It holds a nice amount, the removable cover reduces moisture, and the top can dispense sprinkles or a stream for cooking.

I wanted a shaker with a pour spout for cooking, so I don't need to take he top off, or get the salt bag from the pantry, every time I want to add 1/2 teaspoon of salt to a recipe. It works perfectly for that. The pour rates for the shaker and the spout are perfect for my needs (note that the salt I am using is rather fine). It's also attractive, at least as salt shakers go. I've only been using this for 3 days now, so I can't speak for the durability, but it looks and feels sturdy (including the plastic parts). The pour spout opens and closes well and holds in place. The plastic parts are of high quality solid plastic (except for the top, which is pretty thin, transparent plastic). The borosilicate glass that the base is made of is tough and heat resistant. So I expect it'll last a long time even if it's abused a bit, as long as I'm a bit careful with the top (which is the only part of it that feels a bit flimsy). The top is a nice touch to keep the humidity out. It is also graduated in ml and oz so you can use it as a measuring cup. Even though I can't honestly imagine a situation when I'd need it for that, it is nice that they actually took the time to think about details and implemented something that essentially costs them nothing and could add value to someone. I highly recommend it if you have the need of a shaker that also has a faster, controlled way to pour salt out when needed.

Nice uncomplicated salt shaker. Looks good, only 1 size of holes for salt to come out of, and the pour spout which is useful. Inexpensive and well made.

I like this small container. Overall. It is easier to pour from than the typical store paper salt container. It is a bit on the small side, and the plastic lid is a little inconvenient, but other than that, I would recommend it. We did have a problem where my husband dropped this. Salt shaker, and plastic lid cracked, but the rest of it stayed intact.

Love it..perfect for cooking

It doesn’t rust, it doesn’t cake up. Good quality product. I dropped it on the floor once and it held up well. I like cap keeping the salt dryer.

The cover top has measurements and the size is perfect. Good quality and price.

Der Salzstreuer hat ein recht großes Volumen und ist sowohl zum Steuen (wie auf Brotbelag) als auch zum Ausschütten größerer Mengen (z.B. beim Kochen) ideal geeignet. Der zustäzliche Decke hält den Inhalt länger trocken. Der Behälter ist aus echtem Glas und lässt so den Inhalt gut erkennen. Bewährt sich in der Praxis!

Update Après 18 mois Le point fort a savoir le gros débit sur le côté s est usé trop vite il ne tient plus en position fermée. Du coup inutilisable......... Je tente une prise de contact mais sans trop croire a une issue favorable...... Bonne qualité. J'avais envie de sel fin rechargeable. Le gros verseur de côté est très pratique.
