I’ve been holding off buying a massage gun due to their bulky size and price tag, but the Bob and Brad Air 2 massage gun has finally solved both issues. It’s small and compact so fits nicely in the hand, and I managed to snag mine on an offer making it very affordable. The device is easy to operate, simply hold the function button for a few seconds to turn on, and then click twice more to cycle through the different intensities. Hold it down for a few more seconds to turn the device off. The product is well made, it feels sturdy in the hand and is actually fairly quiet during use. There are 5 different heads which attach easily to the massager, and each one is designed to target different areas of the body. These are all explained in the instruction booklet along with how to work the muscles for best results. I can’t comment on battery life yet, but there’s an easy to access USB C charging port on the device and a USB C to USB A cable supplied in the box. There’s no plug, but this is in line with most mobile phones these days - as most households have a spare USB plug lying around anyway. Finally everything fits nicely into carry case which is nice and compact as well. I really like the Bob & Brad branding and will definitely be looking to purchase more of their range of products.

I absolutely love this brand. First massage gun I gifted to my aunt after her surgery it helped so much with releasing pain. This one is much more compact which I really love as it takes not much space, it’s beautifully package and quality of device is so sleek. It got all heads that you may need and three different strength levels. I’m very much looking forward to use it.

Great massage gun that is quite compact but powerful. Comes with many different heads and a lovely box to store it in to keep things from getting lost. Uses a usb charging cable for modern charging. Smaller hands may find it difficult to hold and grip.

Its felt like a good gun, packs a good punch, the ergonomics is a little weird as its not a straight handle like say the Theragun Mini, but it works, has a great amplitude, its silent and the price is the cherry on top, great value!. Unfortunately mine stopped working after I charged it the very first time, the blinking orange light turned to solid green, but the device won’t turn on no matter that I do! Looked through instructions and online forums but no clue, only a few others with similar issues, not only this model particularly, but other massage guns in general. Once it drained the device after charging won’t turn on at all, even showing green in the pilot light. So ill need to send it back for a refund. Ill have to decide now if Ill get another one or find another brand/model. I have other massage guns, but this is the first to run into this issue. UPDATE: I have since returned and re-ordered the same device again. This second time I have not had any issues so far, and already charged the device 2x without issues. I love the amplitude on this device, how small it is, and definitely feel it "punching" quite a bit more then the mini version. The only thing I dislike is the hold, it would've been nice to have a more ergonomic hold, this format is small, but after a few minutes I have to change position for it not to tire my hand. I so have decided to update my review to 4 stars.

I was very impressed with the experience overall from the initial unboxing. The product comes in a very nice case, which is very different from the standard cheap black cases that alternatives come with. The build quality of both the massager and the accessories is very impressive. They are all made of high quality soft touch materials, which is very different from other hard plastic accessories that alternatives come with. The main reason I was keen to order this specific massager, is because of its smaller form factor. This is a huge benefit for me as I travel a lot for work. Even with its smaller size, the power is very impressive and comparable to alternatives.

I’ve purchased several cheap massage guns/devices but later realised that a higher qualiy unit would have been a better investment. After a little research and review reading, it seemed that Bob and Brads products were good value but also high quality, so I decided to give the Air 2 a try. I have only had it a few days but I am extremely impressed with the quality of the machine and I believe it is already helping me with my sciatica pain. It could have been one of the best purchases I have ever made and I have no hesitation in recommending it.

I’ve been after a decent one for ages, and saw them featured them on a YT video so I took the plunge. Very powerful, 3 speed settings, multiple heads, amazing battery life. And the shape is easier to handle than you think. Great product.

Stopped working despite rare use

I did alot of research before buying this as there are so many cheap offerings around. What separates this device is that it was designed/selected by professional physiotherapists Bob and Brad. This device is smaller than most. But still packs a useful battery life. It has a stroke travel of 12mm which is not quite as big as some items at 5 times the price (16mm - $400) but is still more than any other its size (the rest are 7-10mm. According to Bob and Brad (biggest Youtube physios) this is more than enough for normal people and for 30s and older citizens - only a young long distance runner/pro-athlete will need more. It is modern - usb-c and simple design - easy to operate - on/off and three speeds. There is no App or complicated controls - these are simply not needed. Instead the device focuses on build quality, useability and safey. In particular, although like many it comes with a variety of heads, the main head has an air cushion, which makes it much safer to use and preventing injury and bone bruising. The carry case - whilst of typical design, is of very good quality. I only need to use the first setting for most of my muscles, reserving the higher settings and harder heads only for my quads (thighs) and gluts (buttocks) which are the biggest muscles in the body. Because the item is small, you should consider asking your partner for help or getting a different design with a large triangular handle if your main focus is mid-back/lower shoulder as this one is a little small to reach these hard-to-access places. Those larger handles however will double the cost. This gets five stars from me - it is better than many costing twice the price, and it is also easy storage, reuses your existing usb chargers and highly portable. Highly recommended

This is the best massager I’ve tried. I was thinking of going with a more expensive brand, but I’m glad I went with this one for the value and effectiveness. I use it practically every day for deep muscle knots and exercise recovery. I’ve had it for 5 weeks, so I can’t speak to longevity, but I would buy it again if it got lost. It comes with a case and a variety of attachments, but the true feature is powerful and deep vibrations! Other massage guns I’ve tried feel like superficial buzzing that is more annoying than therapeutic. This is for DEEP tension relief. The battery lasts me for a while, but I tend to use it mainly on the lowest setting while pushing hard against the muscle, saving the medium and high settings for the most stubborn knots. Charging is USB-C and seems fast to me. There’s only one button and attachments pop on and off easily, so it’s a simple, intuitive design. I think the triangular body works better than the traditional gun shape for adding pressure on the muscle with your hand. Like I said, this is for deep massages!
