Bush Genuine Multi Function Selector Switch for Bush AE6BFB & AE6BFS Cooker Ovens - 32016037

I am not a handyman or D.I.Y.er but, having watched some youtube videos on how to test my faulty oven with a multimeter (a very useful tool to have in the home), I decided to have a go at fixing it before spending out on a new oven. The tests suggested the selector switch was at fault. The new switch appears to be a genuine like for like replacement for the faulty one. I removed the old switch and carefully swapped each wire. one by one, to the same terminal on the new switch. I then installed it and, hey presto, the oven works again! One tip, make sure you take plenty of photos of the wiring in the oven before touching anything and, of course, make sure it is switched off at the fuse box. If you are brave enough you could save yourself a lot of money.

Recieved a variation of the picture shown, doesn't exactly line up with the panel symbols but close enough. Installation very easy and did the trick. Works as it should, all good. Fast delivery too!

Although this component is designed to be simple, cheap to manufacture and to degrade in approximately 13 - 14 months, it meets my expectations and it arrived on time. I would have given a 5 star rating if it turned up earlier and had a winning lottery ticket. thanks guys

the original switch on the oven is exactly like the one pictured (18 terminal) the one supplied is apparently an update alternative as supplied by Bush and has only 16 terminals and has no wiring alternative diagram supplied and does not work number for number swap.I have searched online for information but got nowhere. If you do want to buy check first for technical advice updates

I bought this item to replace the faulty one in my BUSH oven. It arrived much earlier than expected and it was relatively easy to change, even for a non-experienced DIY person, such as myself. It took me less than half an hour to replace the old one and I made sure to take lots of pictures of the wiring and change the cables one by one. The oven works perfectly now and I am very pleased with this purchase.

When the oven initially broke down my initial thought was to get a new oven, but after reading on an online forum other people had had the same issue and replaced this part and the oven worked fine so I thought for the price give it a try and sure enough working a treat, very pleased. Part arrived quickly.

The product that is displayed has 18 terminals and mentions part number 32016037, which isn't the product you will receive. The seller provides you with a 16-terminal unit with product number 32038578. So, depending on your needs, it might work or not. In our case, it did work as we could still use the remaining terminals (with their corresponding interconnecting plates). We wanted to make sure it was correct, with the interconnecting terminals, as well as the selector switch modes, so it took a while. But basically, it was a straight swap. Quality is very good.
