Very Happy With This Oven!
I like it! This is a good toaster oven. It does everything I want it to do and since it has no digital display or buttons I’m hoping it will last longer than my previous one. After about two years of use the digital display began to have issues, then I was not able to set the cooking time. So, I shopped around and found this non-digital oven for about a third of the cost of my digital one. It will handle a 12” pizza and can broil and toast. Convection too. The only drawback is the timer. It is not easy to accurately set the time and the one little ding of the bell is very easy to miss. I have a digital timer in my kitchen so I use that. I do use the timer when making toast. It takes a little effort to get the toasting time correct but that is a very small matter. I don’t mind overcooking a couple slices of toast but ruining a casserole is another matter. I typically allow 1.5 to 2 minutes for the oven to reach cooking temperature and have had no problems with undercooking. This is a good convection toaster oven at a good price!

Best toaster oven!
This oven is great. It heats foods very quickly and thoroughly, and when using convection works even faster! I love how it looks and the fact that it has a bumpout in the back to accomodate a pizza that is not visible from looking at it (other than behind) is a great feature. You wouldn't know by looking at it that it would hold a 12" pizza! The crumb tray is easy to use and the knobs are easy to turn, allthough the bottom timer knob is a little tighter to turn. Nothing major though. it also doesn't give off too much heat, but does get hot to the touch of course cause it is an oven afterall. I would definatley recommend this toaster oven, it has cooked everything wonderfully so far, toasts breads great and cooks everything I've made pretty evenly and quickly. Very happy with my purchase!

Great Oven With One Dangerous As Hell Design Flaw
I really like this toaster oven. I've used it for baking, broiling and toasting. All work really well. Yes, it does get quite hot on top, but they all do. Important thing is it doesn't get hot underneath and burn the counter top. There are arrow pointers on the rotary dials so you can set time, temperature, bake, broil and so on. OOPS the arrows are the CHROME just like the CHROME BACKGROUND on the dial so they're difficult to see. You need to check carefully when setting things. The oven cooks great and creates a lot less heat than turning on a conventional oven. Plan on rotating the tray somewhere during the cooking process because it seems to cook a bit unevenly. For example, mine cooks items on the right side faster than those on the left. I've had a couple other brands and they suffered from this same thing so this is not upsetting or unexpected. NOW FOR THE BAD--REALLY BAD--NEWS: YOU COULD SET YOUR HOUSE ON FIRE WITH THIS THING!! The bottom-most dial controls cooking time. Rotate it clockwise to set it. The dial ticks off the minutes and dings when it hits the 'OFF' position. HOWEVER, if the items in the oven are done before the timer turns the unit off, you have to rotate the dial counter-clockwise until it dings, indicating you've hit the OFF position. But wait... THE FLAW ON THIS DIAL IS THAT THERE IS ONE SETTING JUST BELOW 'OFF'. That setting is: 'STAY ON' and this means if you've set the temp to 350 or some other temp IT'S EASY TO THINK YOU'VE TURNED THE OVEN OFF because you hear the ding--but you may have actually rotated it just a bit too far and placed the dial's setting in the 'STAY ON' position. THIS MEANS IT IS STILL ON AND WILL REMAIN SO FOREVER UNTIL IT CATHES FIRE OR MAKES SOMETHING CLOSE BY BURST INTO FLAMES. Won't it be great when, after baking something in this oven, you turn it off, or so you think and then go out to run errands. You won't even suspect this could be the very last time you'll see your house standing, and maybe, you lucky devil, will return to a pile of ashes where the house once stood. Won't that be fun!! Okay, Mr. Hamilton and Mr. Beach, the location for the 'STAY ON' setting should be ABOVE the 'OFF' setting, NOT BELOW it. But whoopee won't we all have fun using our new Hamilton Beach fire extinguishers. I like the oven and now that I'm aware of this dangerous design flaw, will make sure to check it every time I must turn the thing off manually. Happy cooking!!

Perfect for small batch cooking
I put this oven through its paces for several months now before writing a review. This oven makes excellent toast, frozen cheese Texas toast pieces perfect in less than 5 minutes. Frozen pizzas about 12 inch size come out great. I've made thick crust pizza using canned refrigerator pizza dough, the dough will need 5 minutes or so of pre-baking in the pizza oven before adding toppings and baking for another half hour. Other reviewers complained about items not getting done, but look at the portion sizes. This is a small oven, best for a single person or two older people like we are. You can't put two pounds of frozen chicken pieces in and expect them to get done quickly, for more than 2 servings you'll need to fire up your regular oven. This is the real consideration in buying a small oven like this. It's meant for snacks, appetizers, and two-portions of meat, potatoes, fish pieces etc. If you have more than 2 people to feed, then a regular full sized oven is necessary. The "bake" and "convection" settings are a bit misleading if you're expecting a full-size oven experience. While you can fit a whole chicken in this thing, the pan will be close to the burner on the bottom. The low rack position that attaches to the door is good to sear anything on the small baking pan, but not for long cooking, the pan will brown/burn, so you must do your pan sear and then move your food to the top rack to finish. The best reason to use the convection setting is to get that perfect crust on things like roasted potatoes. For this I cut up 2 large baking potatoes into tri-cornered cubes, toss in olive oil with salt/pepper, and put skin side down on the baking pan. I start on convection 350 with the pan on the bottom rack, and move up to the top rack after 10 minutes. Cook another 20-30 and you have fab roasted potatoes with a brown crust that is so great from convection cooking. If you need a convection oven as a serious cook for more than a side dish or more than 2 servings, get a full sized oven. The oven is hot and not kid friendly to touch. However, the top of the outside is pressed a little deeper so you can take advantage of the hot exterior and place buns on top to warm, and your pan placed on top when done will stay warm for a bit. Again, great for two people or appetizers. The interior has cleaned up very well for me with a paper towel in a light detergent/water solution.

One of the smartest purchases I've ever made!
I can't even wait for Amazon to prompt me via email to say how wonderful this oven is! I must have gotten a different oven than some of the other commenters I read beforehand. I've had it about 2 weeks and not only has there not been a single problem, it works great and pretty darn fast too. I bought it because the heating element in my big regular oven gave out, and I had a hard time finding a replacement element. This option worked out better and ended up being cheaper anyway! This also replaced my microwave oven. I just didn't have counter space for both. And that's my ONLY problem ... getting used to not having a microwave. (Cutting the cable TV 3 years ago was easier!) But I'm old enough to remember how to REALLY cook, and as I said, it's darn fast. Hopefully I'll be eating healthier too. Yes, it does get kind of hot on the outside, but well, it's NOT a microwave, people. Maybe some of the previous purchasers weren't expecting that. It's spacious inside, easy to operate....I could go on, but I won't. Final word...this one's a winner!

Good price, good toast. Very sturdy. Poor for convection baking, height too low for good circulation..
It is the size and the length described, is sturdy., and It toasts great on the middle rack. .I like the clip in place bottom rack, and luckily all the racks and pans from my last 4 Euro Pro's fit, so I actually did have another rack for the center, for toast. Unclipping the bottom rack is time consuming. That said, if you are buying it for the convection oven, keep looking. This model has less height, so the convection air does not circulate.Euro Pro spoiled me. There are 4 settings:bake, broil, toast, or convection. This is the bad part, it's all stainless steel. You can't read the dials, nor can you read the settings. I ended up putting a black magic marker line on the knob groove, so I knew where to set it. I then just memorized the three knob's settings. You also have to go over 15 then back to toast. Other than that, it's functional and will last a long time. Since I am used to baking in the convection oven, although I made certain of the width, I didn't realize it was not as high, and the convection baking isn't as good as I wish. It took almost a month looking but being unsuccessful finding a Euro Pro again, I decided on this model for price and 12" pizza length. In the meantime, I pulled out the Forman counter top grill. It's now two appliances to replace my Euro Pro Convection Oven. This model is sturdy,so I will make do for a few more years.

Working good
Just bought this oven a few weeks ago. So far I have liked it. It heats up quickly, and bakes to perfection. Tried with some banana bread, cupcakes and did a great job. The only thing is to be careful when toasting, in the lower knob you are suppose to point to the pictures of toast. It has 2 pics, one dark toast and one lighter toast. When selecting the darker toast it burns my toast when selecting the other picture with the lighter toast it leaves you with a dark toast. So to prevent this I just choose I program it before the 2 picures start. The timer goes from 0-30minutes. The two pics I am saying are suppose to be at 5 minutes. So the timer starts : 0min, then comes the 2 pictures with a toast drawn which are 5 minutes then comes 10, 20, 30. So , in my case I put the timer before the 5 minutes , I put it like 3. Otherwse everything has worked perfect. I am explaining this part because all of the members of my house have already burned waffles, bisquits, yeast rolls when selecting the pics of toast.

Great quality for a great price. Boyfriend and pup approved!!
I spent days and days trying to figure out what to buy my boyfriend for his birthday, when one day I had my "AHA!" moment. You see, my boyfriend is a HUGE self proclaimed breakfast lover...seriously. He could eat eggs benedict for breakfast, lunch and dinner and still somehow crave turkey bacon for dinner. Every time I'm at his apartment, he makes an extra effort to get up early and cook us breakfast before he has to leave for work and it wasn't until I told him that I wanted a slice of toast with my scrambled eggs, that we both stood there with a blank look realizing that he didn't have a toaster. How could this be? How could somebody who literally lives off breakfast items have gone this long without the staple breakfast appliance? I immediately realized that a toaster would be the perfect birthday gift for my love. I then proceeded to spend about a week shopping around, reading endless reviews for toaster ovens which was actually way harder than I thought it would have been. There were so many toaster ovens that had fantastic reviews, but just as I would get close to committing, I would then come across a few extremely negative reviews that instantly put me back at square one again. Well, after much research, I decided to purchase this toaster oven, mainly due to the fact that it had a majority of consistently positive reviews. I'm SOOO happy that I did! Not only was my boyfriend extremely thankful, but its also a very good quality toaster at a very reasonable price. So far, we have made plenty of toast (to make up for all of those lost years) and they have come out perfect every time. We've also made a few pizzas which were evenly cooked and delicious and baked his puppy a dog friendly cake which we could all agree was a huge success! Very pleased with this purchase, would highly recommend!
