NOT "CAMEL HAIR" THANK GOODNESS !!
Why get your hair wrapped around the axel because these are synthetic? Camel hair are about the WORST brush you could possibly buy. ("Camel hair" brushes are not even really Camel hair, and are a crapshoot at best.) To be fair, these aren't t bad brushes. Admittedly mine are still new but they hold a nice shape and are probably a better brush than my ability. I have expensive brushes too but I'm not going to try to tell you I'm a better painter when using them. In the end, stay calm and go push some paint around. You did not overpay for these rather nice brushes.

Brushes are good
Great brushes, ferrule is nice and tight and no hairs have fallen out. Unfortunately they are not what I really wanted. I need soft brushes and I didn't realize Camel Hair was so stiff. It's just as stiff as my Nylon brushes, so I killed a Camel for no reason.

Ordered "Camel Hair" brushes, but received "Synthetic Hair" brushes.
I wanted inexpensive brushes that could be used in a way I would not use my good brushes. I ordered "Camel Hair" brushes, but received "Synthetic Hair" brushes. The item numbers on the packages match but the package descriptions are different. I found the camel hair brushes locally. Seeing the two versions side by side, I see how it would be easy to select the "wrong" version. There should be some way (e.g. a suffix on the the item number) that differentiates the two versions

These brushed have been fine so far
I'm not an experienced painter, in fact, I am just taking my first watercolor class. These brushed have been fine so far, and I've used them about five times. The bristles stay as fresh as when I first used them, and they stay intact. It's a nice assortment of sizes, too.
