The birds love this and the smell even attracts rabbits and squirrels
I put the Brome Squirrel Buster Plus Podium kit ($300) in the back yard of my new central Texas home and filled it with the Ultimate No Mess Wild Bird Food. I sprinkled some around the base of the feeder and doves, grackles, starlings, rabbits, squirrels and mockingbirds were eating off the ground and landing in the feeder's catch tray by sunset on day 1. A couple of days later, some sparrows realized they could eat from the feeder's perch and be relatively safe from the larger birds (due to a clear plastic shield above them). The smaller birds (sparrows, cardinals, and blue jays) knock some of the food down to the catch tray which soon filled with doves, mocking birds and robins eating what fell from above. Those birds then knock some of the smaller bits through drainage holes in the catch tray onto the ground below, where squirrels, rabbits, starlings and grackles eat what's left. My wife and I are new to 'feeding/watching wild birds each morning' and we are having a blast watching 'The Circle of Life' happening in our backyard. This no mess bird feed is definitely a hit with the birds (and other critters) in my Central Texas location.

Excellent High Quality feed - NO WASTE!
I am about to order this for the 15th time! I live in Las Vegas and unfortunately there is not alot of resources for our birds here in the winter months. This seed has been a lifesaver for my little friends in the back yard. It is a NO WASTE seed and does not have sunflower seeds in the shell! This means that there are no black seed shell droppings all over the place. Also I have noticed that there are NO sunflower plants popping up all over the place because any excess seed that drops is eaten by the birds on the ground. I use this in a tubular feeder with six feeding slots and it is perfect for the smaller birds like sparrows and finches. The larger birds in this area are unfortunately pigeons who really go to town on the seeds that spill to the ground. It is a very high quality food. I recommend that you pour the seed into a large plastic container with a lid to prevent any rodents for getting into this. I have not had a problem with bugs or rodents (or squirrels). When my feeder is empty, the birds come looking for me to feed them I go through an entire tube of food in ONE day - so be prepared for a daily bird frenzy. Using this consistently will draw birds to your yard. We really enjoy watching the fiesta at the feeder every day!

Lots of birds love it! Grackles, Blackbirds, And many more!
I have this on subscription. It’s that good! Practically all birds love This no Waste seed stuff. Crows, And especially flocks? Murders?( I’d like to)! 50 and more are in my yard spewing this all over the place and frightening the little birds who love it too! Great for ground feeders bad for the pocketbook because those birds go through a semi large feeder every day leaving nothing for anybody else. When the flocks come in and they do, all other birds better take to the ground. Carolina wrens Love that. I guess this is a love-hate relationship. Cardinals can’t even get at it. I gave it four stars because I’m out there directing traffic throughout the day if I’m home. I have resorted to tube feeders with short perches in the hopes that The blackbirds will leave the feeders alone, but they don’t. I actually had a crow dive bombing the tube feeder. I have tried making halos. Not effective so far I don’t know how to grade this wonderful food except to say I don’t seem to have a choice it’s gonna be small birds or big birds, the small birds getting theirs from inside a cage. Great product but……
