Unfortunately it is difficult to recommend foundation shades because we can't see your skin tone in person. We recommend going into a store that carries Mineral Fusion cosmetics, such as Whole Foods Market to test out foundation shades in person, so you can be sure to get an exact match.

I wear bare minerals fairly medium. what color do you think i'd be?

In Bare Minerals pressed foundation I use cool beige 10, in Mineral Fusion I use Cool 2. In the loose bare minerals, I used medium beige... Then it was bought by the Japanese company.

I’m just wondering if anyone knows if this foundation on amazon is authentic. The packaging is a bit different and smell is a bit different than store

I totally agree with this! The texture (and the way it goes on my skin) feels “off”…not nearly the same coverage as when I’ve purchased it from Whole Foods.  And you are spot on with the smell- mine definitely had the same weird scent that I’ve never had when purchasing directly through the website or from Whole Foods. I’m going to send mine back and plan to stick with the regular website. I don’t want to take a chance of accidentally putting something I don’t know about on my face just to save a few extra bucks.
