Why did you pick this product vs others?: Looked like what I needed. After only a couple of months of use, the main circuit board burned out and the unit became completely unusable. It was hooked up properly to a dehumidifier and the distance of the head was about eight feet. I would not recommend this unit. I did not bother to get a replacement unit.

The original that I bought stopped working after several months. They replaced it with no problems. let’s give it one more try.

Works great. Using for a condensate pump for my hybrid water heater. I've been using it for three years, no issues. If I have to replace, I'll go with this. $60 is cheap compared to the ones at HD or Lowes. One thing of note: 2/5 of an inch? WTF? Functionally, that's the same as 3/8 of an inch. Doing the math, that is 32/80ths and 3/8 is 30/80ths. So the difference is 1/40th of an inch. Hope that helps people who need more condensate line.

I have this hooked to my drain on my ice machine in my garage and it works amazing. Pump is quiet and handles all of the water very well. Zero issues.

Living in a basement apartment comes with its own pros and cons, one of those being portable air conditioners aren’t able to have a constant drain due to the windows being high off the ground. With this pump I’ve been able to have a constant drain that’s around 5.4 feet above ground. With it being a condensation pump it’s common for bacteria to grow so ensure you clean it often (I just pour a cup of vinegar through the system without even dismantling anything). I did melt one of the intake covers for a nice secure fit to my hose and it’s been perfect.

Used little giant pumps before had one fail after an hour of use and decided in this one. Pumps incredibly fast and quietly. Different design of pump which is much better. Alarm when pump can’t keep up is super helpful in some circumstances. I used to to pump drain water from and ice machine won’t hesitate to buy it again as long as it lasts

This is a good looking, well made unit and works like a charm for our portable AC unit. Condensation from the AC collects into the pump where a float switch turns on the pump and out the hose it goes. We put the hose out through the window that the ac vent was installed in our house and extended it down to the ground. Works awesome!

Major design flaw. If the pump loses power and fills with water, it will not activate once the power is restored because the float is too high. You must pour out the water in order to reset the float. In order to fix this I had to disassemble and put zip ties on the float column to stop it from reaching the top.
