worked as advertised
I'm a retired physics teacher, I still tutor students and I do a lot of hands-on labs which I have found to be far more effective, and fun, student learning tools , and student preferred, than "virtual" computer simulations. This product is great for any motion lab . Great product, should be in every physics classroom for easy data, to show concepts without the serious math, calculus, involved.

This is pretty cool. Trying to figure out how fast I throw darts is not the easiest thing in the world to do. I thought maybe I could mount this somewhere in such a way that I could throw a dart through it. It is not big enough to do that. But I was able to move the devise itself the way a dart would be thrown. I "throw" it, not letting go of course, past a stationary object (a piece of velcro suspended from the ceiling) and get a pretty good idea of how fast a dart would be travelling if thrown at approximately the same speed. Believe it or not, it works pretty damned good!
