Just like all the other electric kettles
I bought this because I had a Morphy Richards that lasted more than 12 years of constant use. But this is like all the other Chinese models available. Detachable lid, which is very irritating because you have to keep it somewhere while pouring. And when the water is hot you have to use a knife to open the lid because the lid is also hot.Since it's only 700W, it takes more than 3 minutes to heat.
