Built for speed AND comfort!
Highest quality I’ve found among velcro training gloves in this price range. I personally love the slim profile, latex padding, and thumb. With these I use less hand wrap around knuckles and more down the wrist. Great for 200 lb bag and lighter work. I’ve trained Rival intellishock, Adidas adispeed, Ring to Cage Japanese style, and Dukes professional. Hayabusa look very nice but I don’t hear the awesome Cleto pop from people wearing them in the gym. Understand that’s all personal preference.

Great gloves
Theses are great gloves. If you've been using other gloves, you may find these a bit more difficult to get on, but they are more snug and provide greater stability. I love these gloves as I'm more aggressive with my bag work because I'm more protected.

Very comfortable
These gloves take a while to break in but once they do, they are so comfortable. The material responds very nice to the heavy bag. The quality is noticeable and they usually get compliments at the gym. I would definitely buy these again.

Replaced my last pair that I bought back in 2011
These gloves hold up, because they are so well made. I retired my son used my old gloves for his 1st year training. Now his has this new gloves to continue in his training. He loves them, his coach loves the gloves too. Excellent training gloves

Great gloves
If anyone is wondering if the amazon ones are legit, they are.Comes with all the warning tags and has the serial numbers imprinted on them. The only issue is that they are really underweight or overweight(i ordered 2 blue 16oz pairs and they were all underweight about 1.2oz on each glove)But on the flip side I also ordered a pair of yellow 14oz and red 12oz gloves and they were off as well. The 14oz were exactly 14oz and the 12oz were 15oz.If you have time to do a lot of returns I would order a couple colors for the weight you want so you can check the weight at home and return the bad ones.I ended up keeping one of the underweight 16oz because I got lazy but I love them.

So I finally got a pair and holy crap!!!!
So after years of buying pretty much every brand in the book to find the right quality for a decent price I pretty much settled on RDX. I work out at Fight Factory and noticed the pro boxers all wore REYES. I wasn’t ever willing to pay that kind of money but I knew they were good based on the rep. Well got myself a pair finally as I thought after 2 years I deserved it. They are exactly as good as repped. I picked White 14oz and they’re beautiful. Hand box is snug with wraps and I’d say I’m average sized. Compared to RDX or Venoms the REYES is much more compact fitting. Compatible to my Hyabusas 12 oz. I really like the snug fit and I feel more confident in committing power punches since my hand doesn’t move around. It does make for a few extra seconds getting a glove off for a drink but well worth it. These gloves pop like no other on a bag with less effort making it easy to concentrate on form and technique. Still breaking in but I will say these are worth every penny and I’d never go back to another brand. But again if your a large handed guy you for sure want to try on first.

Cleto Reyes Training Gloves are the BEST
I bought these gloves for $177 and initially I thought they were a bit overpriced. Well after about 20 rounds of Muay Thai training and Boxing training I have to say that they are the best built gloves on the market today. I have boxed in the USMC, and in the US Army. I have trained using many other brands of gloves but they just do not cut it when it comes to quality construction. Cleto Reyes should be the industry standard as to which all other gloves are measured. There is just no comparison. Fairtex is a favorite of mine, but there is still no comparison when contrasted with CR gloves. I know that some boxers prefer certain gloves but if you just go off of construction, quality control, quality materials and all in-house manufactured, CR us hard to beat!

Boxing Phenom
I can understand the hype, the quality is phenomenal. I will say there are some scuffs on them already from the bags. Aside from that and my left hand fitting a bit strange, I can't complain. Maybe I'll update, worth the money if you want longer lasting equipment. We're talking investment here and buying into a brand.
