I was very happy with this purchase. I separated the set and put them in pairs around the house. The gold does not tarnish and the glass is thick. I love that it can be on a timer which is included with purchase. It was easy to assemble and ready to go in minutes! I really like the look of these! They are very elegant and the base is heavy which is nice. It was packaged really well so no breaking. Only nit picky thing is to be careful moving them once you put the glass over the candle. The glass is little lose around the base so the glass wobbles if you move it without holding the base AND glass at the same time.
