I was tired of my office chair getting stuck in the carpet, so I decided to give this chair mat a try. I’m glad I did. Even though it ships folded, it flattened out much faster than I expected and was ready to use right away. My chair now rolls smoothly without digging into the carpet, and the mat stays in place really well. It feels sturdy, protects the carpet from wear, and looks much nicer than the old clear plastic mats I’ve used in the past. The size is perfect for my desk setup, giving me plenty of room to move around. Overall, it’s a great value and has made working from home much more comfortable. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone with carpeted floors.

It's honestly not exactly what I expected, I've ordered many floor mats and they usually come in a rolled up form that you have to weigh down and let relax, not to mention the plastic smell. Not this one, it's simply folded in half and no strong smell! The back is very rubbery and grippy and has nubs that grab the carpet rather than big spikes that leave holes in the pile of our carpet. It's very firm and sturdy so the chair rolls easily and the surface is more of a fabric looking material rather than just hard plastic so it looks really nice too. I'll update if it deteriorates unexpectedly quickly or something but so far I'm happier with this one than any others I've purchased (which is unfortunately many) and honestly I expect to replace it after a couple years with the heavy use it gets. I just hope this option is still available when it does wear out because I'd love to purchase it again

I read the other reviews and was cautious about the mat since some people said it popped up on the edge or they had the "bend" or crease that bothered them. Neither of those two things are an issue. The mat does come folded in half but sitting here at my desk and looking down, I don't see the crease at all. Also, the edges are fine and flat. They are not popping up at all. I do have two edges that are under the desk, tucked under the desk legs so I'm sure that helps. I also did that to help hold the mat in place. I have not had any issues. I think I repositioned it one time after moving some things but it stays in place. The mat edges also remain flat and it makes rolling on the chair easy. It also gives me peace of mind knowing that I'm not wearing out the carpet in this one spot.

I put this a carpeted room and the corners never lay flat because the roll it up for shipping so if you roll off the mat your chair wont roll back on and you have to stand up and and place the chair back on the mat. I bought carpet tape and that solved the issue. They add a role when you buy this. The mat itself is good quality and I like the design.

Looks great and the glide is effortless, even after several months of daily use on high pile carpet in a big & tall office chair. The edges have started to lift, though that has happened with every chair mat I've tried. My only complaint is that the mat does not say put and the rubber dots on the bottom are flaking off. If you have lighter carpet, this may be a problem. The bottom of the mat is also black, and though I have not seen any transfer on my gray carpet, I would be cautious on lighter carpet. If they were to add grip teeth, at least to the center of this thing, it would be unstoppable. As-is, I see it lasting about a year before I have to swap it out. I still think it's worth it, though.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This Aibob chair mat has been a great addition to my home office! It stays in place well on my carpeted floor and provides a smooth surface for my chair to roll across without getting stuck. Fantastic mat, great quality and the pattern really compliments my office area. I have a carpeted room, and it was very difficult rolling my chair back and forth, not anymore, this mat is the perfect material, and it’s not thick and bulky. Worth the price, too.

First day using it but I'm impressed. I give this product a 10/10 win. It's better quality than those plastic ones that you typically use in an office, not too thick, or thin, no smell, Chair moves effortlessly, bring a bit of character to my office space, and lays flat on this office carpet. I have read that the ends roll up after a while, but I believe that depends on what it sits on top of and the position of it. It designed to fold in half without causing damage but I imagine if the floor was soft underneath it might cause the ends to lift. We shall see. If I have any issues I'll will update.
