3K Security Camera Outdoor Wired, No Monthly Fee, CCTV System,C8c 5MP

I bought this camera to replace a fixed one, and the difference is night and day. The standout feature is definitely the 360-degree AI human detection. It doesn't get tripped up by passing cars or moving branches, it specifically locks onto human shapes and follows them silently. I watched it smoothly track a delivery postman all the way from my front walkway, down the driveway, and right behind my car, completely eliminating the annoying blind spots you get with standard fixed cameras.​The image quality is fantastic during the day and stays surprisingly sharp at night. App loading times are quick, and a simple 32GB memory card comfortably holds over a week of recorded footage, so there’s really no need to buy a larger one.​Physical installation was straightforward, though pairing it to my mesh Wi-Fi took a couple of attempts. If your router combines 2.4GHz and 5GHz under one name, you might need to temporarily pause the 5GHz band and hit the camera’s reset button during setup. Once paired, you can turn 5GHz back on and it stays perfectly connected. Overall, it's a fantastic, reliable security camera for the price.

Excellent so easy to use, and very good price

Incredible value for money. This camera with it's tracking and recording of motion is simply brilliant. Easy to install....although I would connect it to your WiFi network before installing it. The picture clarity and night colour vision is really good. The two way sound is also useful IE you can speak to "people"who are in the range of vision ( which is almost 360 degrees!) and the camera will follow and record movement.

Updated for 2026 - with a few more cams (a 4k C8C, and a few more 3k C8Cs)I got fed up of the wifi dropping out on the cameraseven with wifi extenders, at least half of the cams a day would be unreachable.So i put most of my cameras on ethernet cables (4 port switches are cheap enough) - and the difference is night and day. no more random dropouts, no more lag, straight to the camera i want to view - and downloading footage is MUCH faster now.Bonus of ethernet: RTSP now works through VLC/etc.i also turned the auto-tracking off and set them to a fixed view, as tracking makes things blurry.so I will up the review to 4 stars, but not 5...as they are supposed to be wifi orientated. older review below still stands:I own multiple EZVIZ Cameras (see picture)PROS:-Super value-easy to connect-yes, there is a PC app - check their website out.-if your technically minded, you can tweak the advanced options (hidden) through the PC app-SD card slot for recording, so the subscription is optional.-the new (this one) 360* cam actually has decent Human Tracking.-the phone app is ok.CONS:-The wifi signal on most of their cameras is weak ("camera offline")-The PC app hasn't been updated since 2016 (and wont be, according to EZVIZ in 2026)-customer support level = china-no Unix/Linux support, even though the phone app is Android(linux) (can work with Wine in 2026)-sometimes, all day recording/a full card can brick itself (this still happens - tested in 2026)-"colour night vision" and "starlight night vision" is a scam. it requires the lamp to be on = not night vision.all-in-all im currently happy with my Cameras and the new one (this one) rounds out my security needs nicely. i give it 3 stars, mainly for the POOR wifi.

* EDIT 6.1.26* Had to move the camera last night and the pan/tilt became what I can only describe as possessed, wouldn’t move properly at all, today trying to find needed footage has been futile, it wouldn’t load and failed at every attempt.Looking for a new one today!It’s a good quality picture day and night but the video playback is very temperamental, it fails more than it actually works which is really frustrating when you actually need the footage to play and it won’t.I think we will be replacing it again with something better soon.

Excellent little camera with no ongoing charges if you prefer that.

A bit disappointing from EZ-Viz which is a supplier to domestic and professional users although you might see it as Hik-vision.The tracking is somewhat hesitant and even with a measured strong wifi signal, it claims a weak signal and asks to drop the resolution. Night colour is fine but number plate recognition is marginal, so would go 4K next time.

I am a CCTV engineer who was looking for the next best thing, and with this camera I think I have found it.It’s easy to install, i would suggest you take a picture of the QR code and activation code on the unit, as you may find the activation code on the menu display is a digit short.Full of features, it ticks all the boxes, if you require privacy mask as per negative feedback on another comment, then this could be accomplished through using the camera with a Hikvision DVR/NVR device,I know it’s a standalone camera and a lot of users will not have access to a DVR/NVR, but it’s so much more than just a standalone IP camera and can be adopted into a dedicated system, EZVIZ are owned by Hikvision and work well together as a IP camera, and the protocol ID will even display Hikvision.The camera is extremely feature rich, I would recommend installing this at a height it cannot be tampered with, and the camera lacks any anti-vandalism features, as per most cameras these days.If you are looking for a quality camera that offers the latest technology, look no further, the alarm and strobe feature are simply sensational.

Installation simple via l'appli, le suivi automatique fonctionne bien pour détecter les mouvements. La vision nocturne couleur est un vrai plus par rapport aux caméras classiques en noir et blanc. Etanchéité IP65 rassurante pour une pose extérieure. Tout ca marche bien mais le point fort de cette camera c'est compatible ONVIF donc integrable dans mon systeme AJAX Securité

kwaliteit is minder dan wat ik verwachtte. H8 met 2MB heeft betere kwaliteit. Sommige opties van EZVIZ app zoals berichtmelding werken niet. Servicedesk is prima. Ik zou gaan voor TP-Link
