Have used other toothpastes in a pinch, but will always come back to this one for my dog. He loves the taste and it works! Can see why it's approved by the VOHC. Worth every penny and it lasts AGES. This paste doesn't smell of anything really - Definitely no overwhelming fake meat smells to contend with. Must taste good as my dog will eat it from the tube. Non foaming. Not abrasive. Apparently the formula works just from the pets licking it, so you could alternatively smear a pea sized amount on a toy if you really can't get a good scrub on. Note: No toothpaste is going to be able to remove well established thick plaque from teeth. Only a dental scale and polish from a veterinarian will do that. Overall, what I can say is that from firsthand experience, my dog is now three and I've used this once every few days in one form or another (actually brushing his teeth or having him just lick it) since he was a pup and his teeth are spotless.

I'm a vet and have been doing a lot of private research into dog toothpastes. Having seen so many dogs with foul mouths, I am determined not to let my pup's (well, she over a year old now) mouth go the same way. This toothpaste ticks so many boxes when it comes to good oral hygiene that I felt I had to to put my money where my mouth is. The dog loves the taste, and when she sees the tube runs to the stool where she sits to have her teeth brushed. I checked her mouth the other day and her teeth are pristine, (even though I'm lax at times and don't always remember to do her teeth daily.) I can't vouch for the long term benefits but I feel confident that with the same regime she will have fresh breath for many years to come...and avoid an anaesthetic for dental descaling. I especially love how Petsmile has antiplaque properties even when you put it on a chew toy - makes it ideal for those wriggly dogs who just won't stay still for tooth brushing. Anyhow, in summary, this isn't a cheap product but it could save your dog from a costly dental under anaesthesia, plus the claims are backed up by the VOHC...so that all has to be good. I will be repurchasing.

Like-easy to use and the dog loves the taste of it. Dislike-bit pricey

My dogs love this stuff! They still don’t like getting their teeth brushed but the fact they like the taste of this toothpaste means I have less of a struggle on my hands. Their breath has improved and the staining on their teeth has reduced. I know it is expensive but I will continue to buy it because of all of the above factors.

Don't be put off by the price this toothpaste really works. .My dogs teeth are transformed since using this toothpaste. Very easy to apply my dog loves it reminds me every morning after his breakfast to clean his teeth because it tastes so good.Takes only 5 seconds to apply and works wonders no matter how bad your pets teeth.Saves a fortune on vets bills.

My dog loves this toothpaste and gets excited when he sees the tube. He prefers the stick inside with and small foam head to a toothbrush. His teth were better after a few days.

Very expensive considering it's 'just' a toothpaste. Especially as my Goldendoodle's teeth haven't really improved since brushing with this. I expected at least a reduction in the yellowing along the gumline, but no noticeable difference after several weeks of daily brushing, and scraping with a dental tool too.

Seems to be working very well. My dog seems to find the flavour quite acceptable and doesn't mind her daily amount. She's 13and don't think her teeth will ever be sparkling white but I have used a different toothpaste before a few times and this has lifted her teeth a bit lighter. Bit expensive but if it works will continue

Hace un año compré esta pasta. Todo parecía bien al principio pero empecé a notar la coincidencia de que mi perro se ponía mal justo a partir de haberle cepillado los dientes. Los síntomas van de cambio en consistencia en las heces fecales, mal aliento pero con un aspecto químico añadido, malestar estomacal transitorio. Consulté en línea y hay un compuesto en un ingrediente cuyos elementos no están publicados en ningún sitio oficial o de venta. La marca presume que es una fórmula privada aseverando se compone de puros sub-ingredientes seguros para el perro. Pero detecté reseñas de otros efectos secundarios negativos y reseñas más ilustradas que lograron determinar que uno de los ingredientes secretos es un derivado del alcohol- que, aunque podría pasar desapercibido por algunos perros, en otros puede causar percances de salud notables. Cuando dejo de usar la pasta el perro se estabiliza, pero invariablemente cada que la uso noto desmejoría en su estado general. La pasta en sí Sï funciona, sí logra limpiar los dientes, solo que los efectos secundarios y contraindicaciones no estás siendo o estudiados, o publicados, por la marca- sin importar que presuman que están avalados por la institución correspondiente. Tengan muchas reservas para comprar esta pasta si sus perros son de edad avanzada y/o tienden a presentar temas de salud gastrointestinal crónicos o eventuales.

Me encanta esta pasta de dientes, además de llevar el sello de garantía veterinario que asegura que es eficaz, es una pasta enzimática que funciona aunque no cepilles los dientes a tu perrito, y todos sabemos que nuestros perros no siempre se dejan cepillar. Si buscas una pasta eficaz para que los dientes de tu perro luzcas sanos y blancos esta pasta es muy recomendable, volveré a comprarla cuando se me acabe sin duda.
