Big Jim NuMex Hatch Green Chile - 30 Seeds from New Mexico - Medium Heat

Excited to get these in the garden and get our kitchen table back. Almost all sprouted within 10-14 days of being on a heating pad.

I grow these every year and get enough large green chilies to roast, peel, chop, and freeze for use throughout the year. Highly recommend!

Good plants and great taste.

First year I've tried these in the garden, wasn't sure what to expect. Wish I would have started the seedlings sooner, but wasn't sure when the weather would finally allow to go outside. Germination took longer than expected although most seeds did come up in the house. All in all, though, they have thrived in WY weather even though the summer was a bit later/ cooler this year. I'm hoping the weather holds just long enough to get the smaller ones to grow a bit more.

Easy start seeds we used a 3-1-2 fertilizer in our starters to get these to come up quick.

Solid little sprouts, 29/30 seeds germinated into great little plants. Too early to know about flavor, etc., but they're off to a good start from good seeds. Thank you!

I thought I was getting something close to a Hatch Chile. My fault not the seller's. My favorite chile is the Hatch chile. it has loads of flavor after roasting. Makes a great bowl of chile. Nothing added. No meat. No nothing. Just stewed chile. God for Chile Rellenos.
